Grandflorus was my second guess. Only because of the mutipal pups .

the seeds i got as a free gift were bunk. loph seeds dont store well in my experience. but the succulents i got would put out flowers and fruit constantly. i used these fresh seeds after the fruit turned to a raisin. i probably spouted 30 some seeds in a summer, such an easy succulent to grow when kept in ambient light.

I have bought from Precious cactus 5 times, always get a minimum germination rate of 70% sometimes 90%, about the same rate as the one I get from my own plants but infortunately my lophophora dont produce too much fruits.

Under artificial lighting and a timer they will produce flower after flower after flower each with a raisin

I landed a p.t. job at a secialty nursery in town called Arid Lands and am having a blast learning about new species of cacti, euphorbs and other desert plants. Here's a few pix I took last week. They have some very rare things not found anywhere else. Anyone passionate about desert plants should check out their plant list.

I'll definitely be taking more photos at work. I'm anxious to see the snakes guys at the nursery keep talking about. Pix to follow if I see any.

    Hey Danny, Fish
    Fish,
    you know me from elsewhere

Looks like a cool job, Danny
I like how the euphorbs blur the cacti-leafed plant line. Are you dealing with perennials exclusively? There's some interesting annuals that fit the "arid lands" bill

Haven't seen any annuals in the greenhouses. U can find their list and photos on their web site. Almost exclusively succulents. They do about 95% mail order. I'm pulling orders for a lot of overseas customers also.

    L. williamsii is notoriously slow in growth. You could probably advance it with artificial lighting. Or, you could graft it to a Trichocereus/Echinopsis, like a pachanoi or peruvianus.

Spent the whole day watering the greenhouses. Was dry af the week I went back to Philly. 100f on Saturday. Only 70 today but gonna heat up again. Worst thing about watering the greenhouse is my back kills. I'm sad Liz is moving to Seattle. I won't get to smoke that Jay after all.
