My set up is 5g smart pots with coco/perlite mixture (compressed bricks, rehydrated then flushed with ph'd RO water until ran clear). The plants are still early in veg, maybe on 7th node or so.
I've noticed a white fungi or mold on top of the coco in some pots, and outside all around the smart pots are getting a white fungi or mold growing on them. There is nothing on the plants. The RH is about 60, theres 5 plants in a 4x4 tent with 2 indirect clipon fans and an exhaust fan.
This problem did not begin until I transplanted the plants in to 5g smart pots and added mycorrhizae near the rootball. I ended up having less medium than I thought so i wasn't able to bury them very deep and so mycorrhiza ended up on top of the coco.
Basically I'm wondering if this white fungi is a common result of mycorrhiza or if this is something I need to start treating right away. Will try to upload pics later. I also have single 2l bottles with sugar/yeast/water and a pen-size hole in the lid for co2 and they are right beside the pots, so I'm wondering if that is a problem.
Thanks!!
