Pollen press 4 BHO

Hey all, I've made BHO before and know the basics (some intermediates too he he) but in the process of moving to my new house I seem to have lost my blast tube. as far as cash my wallet is flatter than a bitch on a big wheel so I can't really just run to the store and Buy another one. I have been looking around for something to improvise with, and I found my pollen press.

I was basically going to drill a hole in the top cap for tane and use a pipe clamp to secure the screen. my question is, since it's made of aluminum, is it safe to use? I would only use it 3-4 times so long-term Exposure isn't my main concern. I just need my dabs!

Any other ideas would be appreciated too, and before it comes up I don't have a SS Turkey baster or funds to buy one... cash is stupid tight

i am trying to be a friend .........detox no one needs dabs

think about what u are talking about breaking one working item to jerry rig something not worth amount it holds to do anything (pack blow pack blow pack blow for 2 hours to get a oz) ....then throw it away once u have some more cash

detox ........if u need a hit take a vape hit of flower or a good old fashion bong ....nice cone joint
no one needs dabs .....this is from a guy that has been smoking daily for 14 years almost daily for 9 years before that

saying u need dabs is a sign of addiction .......now and then for something speical is one thing (dabs are only rec no medical ....it is just too strong unless made from CBD strains and they have lung cancer on massive chemo treatments )

do not do it not worth breaking something that can be used ........just suck it up dry out some smoke flowers .......the amount u are going tho must be massive if u have a need so this will help u in long run

Anodized aluminum (aluminum oxide) is probably safe, but mill finish aluminum begs the question. They find aluminum deposits in Alzheimer patients brains, but don't know if it is cause or effect. If you keep it oxide free, a 1" section of copper water pipe would ostensibly be more salubrious.

As I recall, I paid about $8 for a Bed Breakfast and Beyond stainless turkey baster.

If funds are that tight, it is unlikely that you also have the rest of the equipment needed to finish a pristine BHO concentrate, so suggest you consider alternative sources.

Zero funds make it tough, so lets focus on what you presently have in your possession, followed by beg, borrow, or stealing.

A quick solution for high quality dabs that your title suggests that you might consider, is a hair straightener and using it to press Rosin. No pre-distil to avoid mystery oil required, nor is a vacuum finish to purge residual solvents. Better yet, there is no expensive butane requirement to pundle up funds from a zero budget.

Not a huge volume with a hair straightener, but can be aromatic and tasty, and certainly enough to keep most dabbers smiley faced.

i could teach the damn rehab class

i have been court ordered 5 times now ......just becuase i got cuaght with weed 1/8 or under (no felony charges)


but saying u need dabs is a clear sign of addiction ......u willing the break down a peice of gear to get something to use to get your dab fix sign of addiction........the fact u are not willing to wait 2/3 weeks untill your cash flow is fixed is a sign of addiction

the other stuff is simple u are locked on to BHO and can not see that a ISO wash would work with out breaking any of your gear and cost less per run and just as easy if not easier but u have to wait 72 hours after u wash it

i need to get a joint in me atleast once every 3 days .....to maintain the lvls in my blood to keep the bi polar/adhd under control .......if i go longer then 3 days the amount in my system gets to low and has no effect on me ............i just got out of some shit with the court system last year.......what saved my ass was the rehab lady writing a note to the judge saying i am not a addict and have a medical need to use weed (it saved my ass i got a PBJ i did my year no trouble now the charges are dropped and gone only have it on arrest record )

The way that I intend to do it will not render the press ineffective . And the word need is a figure of speech, I live in Michigan and I haven't had dad's in around six months, ever since they banned concentrates it has been hard as hell to find anything other than flowers. I have nerve damage in my back and multiple other issues, I have Ehlers Danlos and use it medically. I have to argue that it does have medical benefits. As far as I know they concentrated has all of the same medicinal properties as the strain in flower form just more concentrated

Maybe it has to do with the fact that I take methadone but my tolerance is a lot higher than it used to be, and I have a hard time medicating with flowers, I have been in recovery @ the methadone clinic and clean for three years so I know a thing or two about addiction myself, I just thought it was funny that the word detox was used. As far as I know you cannot get physically addicted to marijuana.

I have tried doing that technique a couple of times and got next to nothing from it, how much pressure are you supposed to apply to the iron? I was growing specifically for concentrates for a year or so so I still have everything that I need aside from tube. I've always had more fun making something myself anyway Bongs, bowls, etc.

Quite a bit of pressure. I use a ratcheting clamp to press mine.
