Poll- Preferred method of obtaining MMJ in MA

Hey guys! It's awesome that MA is allowing patients to produce their own MMJ in MA (for now). Anyone and everyone who has ever grown their own meds can tell you with total honesty that the hobby itself is extremely therapeutic and rewarding.

The reason I made this poll is because, from what I've gathered, MA is going to be extremely stringent on letting folks grow their own come this summer once dispensaries are open! A little messed up to allow something, then make it very inaccessible by requiring hardship licenses.

Why should your every-man marijuana user be forced to shell out a ton of cash to the wealthy folks running the first dispensaries for a small amount of medicine?
Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of dispensaries as a site to sample alternative strains and methods of medicating, as well as talking to the knowledgeable staff; anyone growing their own will still be a dispensary goer! Without high quality dispensaries the MMJ industry may be years behind where we are now- the emerging info on CBD and how it can help little kids with seizures, to mention one awesome cure, is truly amazing!

I'm in full support of dispensaries! However, I like many others still want the option of producing that 10oz supply! It's an awesome avenue to foster an amazing hobby, with numerous applications, that will some day yield much more valuable social benefits on a whole than just 10oz of pot.

So if MA makes getting a hardship license very hard, and $60 1/8's are your only option, what will your preferred method of getting MMJ be?

If I were in Massachusetts, and needed weed for some reason ...I would buy it...but I just know I would hate that ....far preferring to grow it, even if its just a simple Auto that can give me a quick blast ...be it in 2 months time .....lol

Dispensaries are cool and all don't get me wrong. But there is nothing more beautiful then having your own garden. Dispensaries are awesome for the variety but the pricing is often ridiculous which undermines the whole ease of access for us patients. The cost to produce your own medicine vs. going to a dispensary speaks for it self. I love the idea of having dispensaries in MA but if there going to do away with us growers in order for the dispensaries to exist and operate then we as a community could do with out the dispensaries. Also the caregiver and patient to patient laws are a joke. We need more open access then what is currently being offered by the DPH.

Even if 'any' government was making it so you could grow as many as you want for a $10.00 license I would still be a bootleg grower, the deal being that once governments see cannabis as a for of tax income, even the fine for bott legging would be less, sorry I don't trust governments, perhaps MMgrow above can recommend a state with a more progressive system

I don't think many people realize that their recommendations are recognized in Rhode Island. While you can't visit out dispensaries, you can still get top notch meds from patients with overages at very reasonable prices.
