there used to be many more blacks on the show..i'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's the actors they hire..therefore, you would need 2 more blacks per 10 walkers to get to that 30%.

True. It is all cattle call for Zombie class. I've seen them film it.

And maybe it doesn't affect black culture as much. So they don't try out. The 4 black people they have on now are never killed. Some sort of commercial immunity?

And in the first Zombie movie, Night of the Living Dead, the Black guy made it, I think.

Come to think of it black folk in Georgia have been laying low from White Zombies a long time. They probably closed entire towns to whites, first thing, before even the first episode.

So. there are not a lot of black zombies. Sickle Cell protects them?

Why are there no naked Walkers, or Walkers in their underwear? Every single person was dressed when they turned, even strippers?
So, you do realize the story is not about naked? You know it is only a story, right? :)

He has a thick New Zealand accent he is hiding.
Dude he's not from New Zealand, he's Limey as fuck.

And whoever said about the walkers being more and more gaunt, it's the ones who can't feed that deteriorate the most apparently.

Ones that are locked in rooms alone, etc.

For example remember the prison guard walkers in the riot armour who were falling apart? It's cos the face mask prevents them feeding.

A couple of other examples too but overall they are getting more skeletal, just some of the examples are from the aforementioned reason.

My real question is...who's cutting the Goddamned grass?!?!

Sorry, it all sounds like marbles to me, these commonwealth mutterings.

Andrew Lincoln is a British actor. Lincoln spent his early childhood in Hull, Yorkshire before his family relocated to Bath, Somerset when he was age 10.

I like the Zombie movies where the Zs try to keep up their everyday activities.

Funny.

Bit "unrealistic" tho in Zombie-lore. It's part of the reason I like Walking Dead so much, it a good mix between the old school "horror genre" zombie flicks and the new action-esque I am Legend style "infection" movies that concentrate more on the "I survived, this is my life now" human side of the story.

The gore on Walking Dead is some of the best I've ever seen too.

Agreed, but what is Zombie lore, outside of what is defined by George Andrew Romero, himself? He had that, "continue the Dead Life" in Land of the Dead.

So if it is Romero, it IS Zombie.

Sure he did. They even addressed it in the movie. "they won't stop coming"

What I didn't like about the movie was that they never really touched on what I thought was the coolest part of the story. There were some 'vampires' that learned to live with the condition and thought of the doctor as a monster who would kidnap and do who-knows-what with them.

Still, way better than Omega Man IMO.

I don't know, but I do know that he would then understand the joke. just like the teeth and eyeballs jokes, I heard that one from a Master Sergeant who was as black as they come, great guy. At night time he would muster the platoons and ask where all his black Marines were by asking them to smile, then he would count the smiles.

Buck has never been around black people, he prefers it that way.
