Please tell me if my plant is as big as it should be

Hi, guys. This is my first grow and I'm a little through my fifth week of flowering. I was watching a video (Mr Green I Grow Chronic) and I noticed by his sixth week, which I'm getting very close to, his plants had buds that looked bigger than mine. Of my own plants, one is northern lights and the other is wonder woman, both by nirvana seeds. Please look at these two pics and let me know if you think that they should be further along than this. Thanks in advance and my sincerest apologies for the quality of the pics (I actually had to email them to myself from my phone and then save them to my desktop on my cpu) and I have No clue why they are rotated the way they are. That isn't how I took the pics with my phone. Thanks again :)

Yeah when I said that I'm in my 5th week of flower that just meant that that is when I switched to 12/12. Based on what you said I am more likely in the third week of flowering, which means that they are probably right along on schedule. Thanks for the reply. It clears that matter up. +respect, Lostnz :leaf:

No worries i know exact how U feel. I was like that till realised count from flower on top. Proper photo period. Not from the light switch because U will be 2 weeks too early if harvest at recommended time frames.....

It is bittersweet information. On the one hand, I'm happy that I haven't done anything wrong and I should get some nice weight. On the other hand... I'm going to have to wait just a little bit longer than I had anticipated. Oh well. All good things to those who weight ;)

Wait til you ditch the Nirvana seeds and upgrade to the top shelf. You will really see a big difference.
Oh I've read the forums and I totally understand where your coming from, Corso. I went with Nirvana because my other seeds were stored improperly. I needed something cheap and fast. I wanted cheap because it really is my first grow. I've got more Nirvana seeds that I'll have another go with but after that I'm considering Kosher Kush by Reserva Privada or Herijuana by Sanni. When I've got more experience I'll start getting regular seeds and start sexing them for optimal results. I'm wanting to try Bodhi and Sanni pretty badly :) ------ One question though. Are you speaking in terms of quality or just the way they grow? Edit: Of course the quality is better... just wondering if there is any difference in the growing.

The best answer is.

We don't have million dollar setups like the pro seed banks do. We have shit environment. Bottom.basement.wardrobe. small rooms. Don't have top end equipment so none of us will flower the same. And same time as pros. Because they far ahead of us with cash to upgrade grows. This is my theory.

Anything can factor in, stress slows the budding process quite a bit

Resist Urge To Harvest!

They're going to swell at the end. Congrats on your first grow!
Thank you kindly. I sincerely appreciate that. It has been kept me a little apprehensive at times... but that is how it is sometimes :leaf: They're definitely getting bigger. The humidifier I bought isn't worth a darn, but I suppose that is another thread entirely. Thanks again :bigjoint: *edit: apologies for the incorrect grammar ^^^
