PLEASE make your shatter OUTSIDE.

Getting a judgement is not the same as collecting that judgement. Rental property damages are almost impossible to collect. That's why landlords ask for a security deposite upfront.
That's what I said. I think the financial part is the least of their worries at the moment anyway, if they live, I doubt they will be able to work. Sad, really.
I've been both a landlord and a tenant...I'm still owed over $7000 I won in a judgement against a dirt bag tenant...15 years ago! And it is a duplex, the whole subdivision is only about 12 years old.

Im surprised the harper army isnt all over the news saying see see told u.
Maybe its because no where in that article does it actually say the three injured were doing something illegal?
They found cylinders on the lawn could have been anything. Stupid people will always find a way to hurt themselves.

that's what my old DG did in Oct 2013.....so i couldn't get an address change. i couldn't believe it when i finally got a hold of him. he was running the butane and one of his genius buddies lit a bong. he got messed up but he should not have been doing it inside...pure genius

there should be cigarette pack style warnings on butane bottles with pictures of melting flesh and the words 'do not open blast indoors'

incidentally, the neighbors in the duplex lost their home too

to me it's common sense not to use ANY explosive things indoors and especially keep away from open flames.
i knew a guy how blasted outside but then brought it inside to burn off the butane over a hot water bath kept warm by having the electric stove on minimum...sounded safe until it blew up due to a spark from the electric fan above that stove...you just never know where that spark can come from.
i only do it outside

Lol considering it was being used in a manner it was not designed for to create an illigal substance you'll never see a company put any giant warnings on saying "don't blast indooors" it's packaged and sold as lighter fluid. Not a marijuana concentrate solvent.

Back years ago people said the same thing about cool whip cans. Some stores refused to sell them to teenagers here in the mid 90's. i remember buying cases of em and a bag of balloons and giggling at the cashier as she rang em up. Now they changed the nozzle to combat the problem.
Stupid people will always find a way to injure themselves darwin was right

Its gotten ridiculous in the states, there is a good thread in the concentrate forum on IC were a couple guys just update it with news stories of butane accidents. One of the latest was about some dude open blasting in his traveling vehicle with his infant child with him, not sure how they fared. Wish the rosin tech would catch on with smaller blasters. Closed loop ftw.

I made my first batch of rosin a few weeks ago. Easy when you get the temps just right.

I heard an update yesterday that two of the guys are not expected to live and the third is not looking good either. All in their early 20's...same age as my kids. What a waste.

We need to get people off the Butane.
CO2 extraction devices would be a boon in this market. The only issue is cost, though. Even the cheapest one I saw would be too prohibitive for these dumbfucks.
Hmmm...must brainstorm. Stoners need saving.
