Hi guys! I've been trolling riu for a while now and have gained lots of knowledge. This is my first post on here ever!

Details:
Lighting: 2 1000w air cooled hps

Medium: Soil (ffof)

Pots: 5 gallon air pots

Nutes: Advanced Nutrients (grandmaster)

Avg temp: 75 lights on & 67 off

Avg Humidity: 52%

This is a white widow x skunk #1. I have a few others that are doing just fine. There is only one giving me problems. I water every 2-3 days on a feed, water schedule. This plant is on day 37 of flower. I thought it was showing lockout from ph so last week I lowered my ppms and have been feeding at 6.7ph. They also get magical (calcium and magnesium) every other watering. Using tap water sat out overnight. Tap comes out at 7.6 and I ph down as needed. I'm totally stumped.

They are in a 6x6 tent.

This is only my second grow. I'm feeding my others the same. They never get more than 1000ppm every other watering. It's only affecting my fan leaves and it started lower and is working its way up. When I first noticed signs, I leached with ph water and gave it half strength nutes 3 days later. I don't think its nute burn. Thanks for the response though. A lot of fan leaves are turning yellow and curling up.

I will keep watering with ph'd water. I've been doing that for a week but it's getting worse. Does nute burn look different on every plant? This looks nothing like the nute burn I had before. The fan leaves have rust spots all over and are turning yellow and curling up. I thought it was magnesium but they get plenty of it. With lights on, it's hard to get a good pic. Sorry about the horrible quality

different strains take different doses, some can take more than others, i wasn't going to get into the whole advanced(grandmaster) nonsense, but trust me when i say they are fried.
having to much of one thing can lock out other things. rust spots are usually a calcium def.

Thanks chuck. I've seen your name on here a lot so I know you prolly know what you're talking about. Do you think I should toss it? Or do you think it could still produce some nice smoke? This is my first sativa dom and it's a pain in the ass. Would you toss it and make space or do you think I can still get something nice out of it? I used technaflora my first grow and had high hopes for advanced. The thing is, Advanced costs the same online as technaflora does at my local shop. I'm thinking about switching to canna. What do you think? I seem to be getting the same results with an as technaflora although it's a lot harder to burn with an during veg.

My other white widow x skunk has gotten the same treatment but looks much better. Better trich development too. This is really bumming me out.

Thanks. I give a lil dose of sensi grow and post my response. Next grow I'll stick to one strain. It looked like a p or k def to me initially cause by lockout due to overfeeding

I hit them with 1/4 strength bloombastic about a week ago. That's the culprit isn't it? I used it too early in bloom. You're good, Chuck!

God, I love this site!
just remember, now that they are damaged, you can't repair that damage, but you can get the plant back on track and healthy again.
Trying to bite my tongue on the whole AN nutrient thing, but you don't need all that crap from AN

I'm the type of person that has to learn everything the hard way. I know how many people hate AN but I went for it anyway. Truth is, they don't seem any better or worse than technaflora. I don't think they're bad nutrients at all. But, for what you pay in store AN is ludicrous. I think they do a fine job but indeed overpriced. I really don't see why people hate AN. If they were significantly cheaper than any other brand, would you guys still hate them. When my AN nutes run out, I'm switching to either canna or botanicare full time. I do think AN is over rated. Their claims to be superior are misleading to say the least. They performed just as well as technaflora which is a fraction of the price. I will continue to water with ph balanced water only. The rust spots are taking over like crazy.

So, only use ph'd water for how long? When should I start feeding it again. I really want to get some trichinae development out of this plant. I'm gonna stick to indica until I get a lil more experience. I really thought I was doing everything right

most people follow the herd and over abuse nutrients, less is more, read the link I posted above, then find all of uncle bens threads and follow them, you will be a great grower and spend FAR less to do so. Trust me on that.

Update:
Please help. So, upon further inspection I've noticed this damage is exclusively on one side of the plant. One side is green and healthy and the other side looks like pictured above. It's like half the plant is well and the other half is sick. I did put a stake in the pot a couple weeks ago. That's the side of the plant giving me problems. Could this be caused by staking. I've backed off the nutes and have only been feeding water but the problem is getting worse :(
