Took the plunge, but wanted to use just bag seed to get things set up (money is tight) so I have done things in steps... sorry no pics on the steps but below are pics of the the finished product... This is my first grow.. so please let me know if I am doing anything wrong...
Room... built with Mylar as the interior wall (only wall really) with dimensions of 4 x 4 x 6 foot (ok, maybe 6 1/2 feet)
vent: 4 inch duct intake on bottom, and 4 inch duct outtake on top (close to top)
intake: just a 5 foot 4 inch dryer duct pointed away from light (curved for best results)
outtake: 8 foot 4 inch dryer duct with an adapter on the end (see pics)
Fans: Large Oscillating fan in room, cool mist humidifier (cool breeze when cold water is applied :) ), 2 120 mm fans tapped to adapter (see pics).

Temps average 84 - 87 pending on whether or not the air conditioning going.
humidity averages 55 -56

have a DIY Co2 dispenser (courtesy of youtube)

There are also some pics of the two plants that I have... the one on the left (bushier plant) is from a resent buy that was best in a long time.... the other one (left, not a bushy) is from a seed that I saved from 6 years ago that was a good as well. I was surprised that the old seed sprouted... it was the first one out of 40 or 50 I tried to germinate ( learned 5 years is probably the max of seed storing in the climate I left them in). The resent one was one of 5 that sprouted and it was very fast. I have went this route since this is my first time growing and wanted to get things down right before buying proffy seeds :). More info: Using MG MC since sprout (was the cheapest at the time and did not want to learn nutrients right away... now I have better soil and three nutrient bottles for different stages ( guy said it was all I need... with look more into that as I go.. they are fox farm so I knew that they were not bad products.) Will probably start a thread when I start controlling nutrients myself... (After I do a search on this combo to see if anyone else has already posted about it... :) )

NOTE: I had to put a paper towel on the outtake vent and make a hole because it was sucking the humidity out and temps would only fall to 83.
Vets... please critique... but plants seem to be doing fine I think.

thanks a lot everyone!!

edit: forgot lighting... 150 watt hps, 6 23 watt 6500 k CFL's and have 2 62 watt 2700 k CFL's to put on side for flowering... (will probably get 2 more to replace all blues... or should I keep a blue or 2)

The last pic was trying to show that I used 2 inch industrial strength velcro for the door... very light tight! Have stood inside during a very bright day and could not see any light.... best investment on the tent itself.. which brings me to title should be grow tent...not room.. oh well...
thank you all once again.
