The flies I see are fruit flies, so they don't do anything. My main suspect is ants.
Did you see fruit flies on yours or the pics i Posted?THe fly I saw in my gizmo wasn't common house fly.Had reddish greenish kinda color(if that makes any sense).Looks like the kinda flies you see around aliums.

Thanx. So you don't subscribe to the soap/water thing?
the soap could work but your plants not looking good and you don't know what eating them
at night it could rain or the soap might not work
the spray is to kill all
that eat fruit and veg and last for 4-6 weeks
not the best way but give it a good spray and
no bug will eat it any more

look at your soil is there any little white specks crawling around. thrips is what I have. they leave little shinny spots with black dots on they big sun leaves. there have a pesticide my buddy swears by called azamax he says he doesn't have bug issues anymore. I plan on getting that. i tryed tobacco and soap mix that didn't work but they hate it. bugs i guess build up there system against differnt things we use.

I don't have any unusual spoys or discoloring.I sat there and watched for about 45 mins. That damn fly was watching me watching him.He landed on one of my babies & milled around awhile, then went down the stem and milled around in there, but he wasn't chewing on the leaves or look to be chasin after anything.Maybe its just the bong hits, but i could swear he was thumbing his nose at me;-).Hard to see white spots in my soil, couldn't get vermiculite this season, had to use perlite.White shit everywhere, but none of it seemed to move.

In a few days, Kinda snapped one of the stems yesterday when transplanting. I taped it up and it was only 75% snapped. I'll give it a few days to heal. But i quickly topped it and am cloning the top.
