Could a femenised plant that is planted outdoors in august, basically September, grow and flower outdoors in California? Its a Super Silver Haze Plant btw. Cuz I guess ideally they veg in the summer then flower in fall. But I was thinking as long as its warm enough and the days get shorter in winter than they were in fall (which they must right?) then will it maybe veg through September, October, November and flower in December, January, February?

The light changes in the 3rd week of august usually

To below 12/12......

Plants will automatically flower when put out after the 3rd week in august.....

Thats how we used to do 'deck' crops for some head stash in mendo-

Anything you 'dont' use in your room save and put out in the 3rd week of august....

You will get some nice 'deck-weed' headstash-
and wont have to throw any plants away if your rooms full

3rd week of August??? That's hilarious!

The solstice is June 21, so after that the days are getting shorter. Outdoor plants are induced to flower in July, so any plant put outside in July or later will be induced to flower immediately.

and we are talking about a longer flowering sativa are we not?

1 he would need 10 weeks at least outdoors, 2 it would have began flowering with 8-9 hours light probably.

Angryblackman is right. especially if its not too cold about 10 weeks from now.

Yeah dude you should be cool for sure. I did exactly what angerblackman said here in Co. around august and they are doing great so far! I may have to build a shitty cheap little greenhouse for them but all will workout well. So yes. Especially if you have a shorter blooming strain. Best of luck!

Here in the middle of hotel California, lady east coast sour d planted right in the ground just began to flower a week ago. Go figure.

Although I did pop some in July and they were pretty much 12-12 from seed as far as growth and veg.

Some began to show pistils when they were about 12" while others at about 8".
