I plan to veg my Ladies indoor then plan them outside but my outdoor grow spot is about 5 minutes away how long will they survive not being in a grow medium and what will be the best way to transfer them I can't just bring them in pots because eyes will be on them can I just stuff them in a trash bag for the short period of time before planting outdoor

If you can walk it in 5. Id run those mofos over there in 2 in the wee hours one at a time, secure them and go back when its optimal to finish your work.

So I shouldn't take them all out at 1 time because I'm driving to the location how long can my ladies last being out with no pot just in a trash bag

Im confused why you want to take them out of a pot to transfer? Is it for stealth? I work at a grocery Paper Towel boxes are a perfect size to fit a plant in. We give them out free, all you have to do is ask one near you.

If your only walking "a little way" then your plot will be discovered anyway.

But as a prev posted said, do it early hrs of the morning and do it fast.

Just throw them in a backsac and leave them in there little plastic veg cups unless your plants are big. In that case at the end of the season they'll be tall and really noticable, they probably will anyways :(. It use to take me 1hr to get the boat down the creek deep into the swamp then 5 seperate plots...... kids are so lazy lol.

Just grow them out in Party Cups,...and bring the cups with you. You risking their health trying to transport them bare root.

This is the normal way. You can normally get 4 plants in a back pack this way- but the plants cannot be to big obviously.

Do you own a backpack? I can fit 4 one gallon nursery pots in mine. Gotta bend the plants up a bit but no worries. Throw in a folding shovel and you're golden.

Here is a one gallon pot with an 2.5qt pitcher on top. You can slip a couple of those in a dept store bag and nobody would know. You stuff the base around the pot with newspaper so it doesnt slide. So I have also been thinking about something. You say you are going to veg them indoors and transplant outdoors. Why not just take them now. You are going to veg them outdoors through he summer if you bring them out there in a month. Unless you are in the Southern Hemisphere
