Hey all, I'm planning a grow in the garage of my new house and wanted to get some input from everyone here before I start building. I want to build a 4' wide, 8' long, 8' tall room in the back of my garage (256 cubic feet). I hope to flower around 14 plants in this area. I'll be growing Oasis from Dutch Passion, Agent Orange from TGA/Subcool, and a few choice bag seeds. I prefer an organic soil medium. As for light, I'm thinking about two 400 watt HPS lights. Does this sound like enough for 32 square feet? I'm concerned about temperature. It gets very cold in the winter (15 - 30 degrees F) but hot in the summer (88 degrees right now). How would you vent a room this size, with two lights, and keep a proper temp year round? Should I insulate? I should add that I have a small window AC unit that I could use in summer. It's small, but it made my old bedroom frigid, even on hot days. This garage area will be for flowering only. I'm setting up a seedling/clone/veg zone indoors under 250 watts of MH. Any comments or tips about temp, venting, humidity, lighting, or anything else are appreciated! Thanks!
