Plain & simple! Mature's 12/12 from seed rolling harvest grow.

Long time no see MS well as summer is just round the corner I'm starting to feel better about this growing fun again now, so I'm gonna get stuck in again at long last.

It's good to see your still at it, I tried to get into the other forum you were on but couldn't adjust to it as I'm to used to RIU lol, my old of case is still in use which is great but just a shame I can't grow at home so I'm ordering some seeds and getting set for some autos as soon as the weathers ideal

Any way everythings looking brill at your end and I have a good feeling about this

subbed up MS, getting ready to do a 12/12 from seed myself but there just bagseed..

12/12 from seed is fun but its faster if you veg for atleast a week

yeah but the point of a 12/12 from seed is for 1 grow area and 1 set of lights and not all look for speed just the enjoyable feeling of growing there own Mary Jane

o i know i've got 4 12/12 from seed grows under my belt so far and one current one thats going great biggest 12/12 from seed plants i've had so far

for sure, I just like that I can add plants in when I want and only need 1 grow area, living arrangement doesn't give me much room or area for discrete growing.. Eventually I'd like to have 3 tents, 1 for mother plants, 1 for veg, and 1 for flower but thats a ways down the road..

and if your sleeping next to your tent 12/12 is easier to manage more then 18 hours of light

Which I do lol so yeah 12/12 is way easier when the lights are off early enough my wife can sleep haha

I've always wondered how much buud you can get growing with 12/12... Could you yield more if you had bigger pots or does that not affect anything?

yeah the pot affects the plants growth a small pot will root bound quicker then a larger pot so yeah... I think I seen gumball talking in another thread about a grower that yielded 4oz off 1 12/12 from seed plant.. So it is possible depending on grow room size and the container size that the plants in, lighting setup if you have a mixed spectrum or not would probably have a something to do with it also.. just my .02c

I got a sativa thats 4 foot tall 12/12 from seed the rest are 2-3 foot indicas

I just threw a couple seeds into the flower tent with my big kids. So far I've got Big Bud x White Widow, Sugar Black Rose and Kannabia Special with White Rhino on the way, so we'll see which strain is top dog for 12/12 soon enough.

If you approach your growing from the 'monster buds' angle then this is clearly not the method for you. Well put MoNko My grow is simply about getting enough bud for a daily smoke from a single small space as efficiently as possibly, and turning over enough different strains to keep things interesting.

UPDATE.

The Swiss Cheese (1) is at 12.5 weeks from germination, 12/12 from seed, and still throwing out white pistils.

The follow up 3 plants (Master Kush, Northern Lights & Swiss Cheese) are at day 29 from germination today and beginning to flower up nicely already. All about the same so far, possibly the NL slightly ahead, but only slightly.

I have held the next 2 (Lemon Skunk & bubblelicious) back as long as I can before germinating them but I think its time to get them started now I have a 4 week gap.

That Swiss cheese looks good mate, lots of white pistels still, And don't hang about get germinating them new seeds

What did you make your pots out of and what size are they roughly?

Also how do you like high wattage CFLs? I currently use 55 watt bulbs and find them nice.

Also for potency you might want to look into a LED panel for that type of setup since it seems like you don't need quantity versus quality. (not saying your plants/setup isn't good now)

Yeah maturesmoker the plants are lookin good bro for sure.. Can't wait to get my uhaul box built and get my 12/12 going.. Ran a PC setup last go around with 1 plant vegged 34 days and switched to flower ended up yielding 43g dried.. But this go around I wanna be able to keep putting plants in the same box when another comes out for harvest... Like you said constant turn around...

Also he said he has gotten a HPS before so he has dropped a decent amount of money on lights before meaning he could do it again.

They are only about 200$ Also you have to swap your CFLs out every once in awhile and big ones like his run 50$+ usually.

If you read his first post he said he has 120 watts of 6500k and 200watts of 2700k, the bulbs in his case don't look like the big bulbs to me and I don't know of a 120watt CFL I've seen 125, 150, 200 but no 120..

Yeah he said he had used HPS and that he was good with just CFL's.. If he had run HPS and would rather run CFL's then why would he wanna upgrade to LED? And I do not belive that lights affect potency just size of plant/buds.. could be wrong but thats just my 2cents from what I've read and what growing experience I do have...

Im not trying to argue man especially on someone else's thread. It was a simple suggestion because LEDs are fairly new and popular to people who run CFL type setups.

Also the light spectrum effects potency because the different spectrums can help develop trichomes

A lot of growers who prefer quality over quantity go 400w CMH for veg and flower. HPS is more of a producer rather compared to quality (not saying it doesn't produce dank bud)

Same concept with LED, also with summer coming up it runs cool.

MS will sure be explaining that cfl grown buds have just as much potency as hps grown buds and he knows this from years of experience, he ain't called maturesmoker for nothing mature by name mature by nature
