Pistols still white but the trichromes milky already

Fairly new to this, this first time i have encountered such results. The buds look like ready however only very few pistols have turned orange. Trichromes have already turned milky color. Please take a look and advise whether it's time or should wait.

it'll get you high now, probably better than any street weed been getting too. looks great.
sorry to say she is not finished though. those white pistils will recede, shrivel a bit, brown some.
you could snip a sample to dry and try but leaving her some more weeks until those trichs are a solid cloud, plant slows up take,
pistils are tanned and receded, some ambering in the trichs maybe.. you're good to go.
I'd be reducing your nutrients at this stage. dont starve, but dont over feed.

You can't always go off the hairs, and you can't always go off the trichs. Looking very good, though. You're definitely doing something right! lol. If you get to antsy, clip off a couple of the lower nugs and dry them out for a teaser. But if you chop the whole thing you're going to loose a lot of yield and potency.

Got about another 4 weeks give or take. Looking like week 5 or 6 growth.

I’m in the same boat as you, look close to the same too. Learned a lot today. Didn’t realize trichomes on the leaves mature faster. I still have a couple weeks to go.

Wait and watch it put on weight over the next few weeks! I say she'll double in size before she's ready for harvest.

Im literally in the same stage as you are. My trics are cloudy, with no amber at all (at least from what i seen), but my pistols are turning red. I have about 2-3 weeks left. Hold off, i know its hard. They will start to swell up when they're nearing the end. It will be worth it. Those are some sexy ass looking buds though, nice job!

Typically you'll see some of that dark green color flush out of leaves and they'll turn lighter/yellow towards the end. You can also tell by your first pic, the entire bud is still loose or skinny looking, slightly airy because of all the thick pistils. Once the calyx under those pistils fatten you'll definitely notice the bud swell in size and the pistils will wilt and change color. You have a long way to go just as others have said. Min 2 weeks max 4 weeks probably 3 weeks

Patience is truly one of the hardest skills to master.
