still more pics of the f2 stunted from being kept in cups so long but i had to find the true autos and this was the only way.

chopped and drying on racks seeds tucked safely behind mothers calyx until dry and cure are done.
p306,p2306,p2107,p2112,p2102,0202 were the names of my 6 that made it the last 2 numbers denote the plants number in relation to its siblings the first part is the parent plant

alrighty a little more than a week elapsed from the time i chopped and dried up my f2 plants now on to the f3!
60 seeds planted per family
my 3 inferior line p2112,p2102,0202 were planted in a similar fashion at another location, didnt get to finish them because I lost that location but nothing special as far as i could see anyway.
my stupid ass dogs mashed up quite a few plants and made a snack of a few my great dane figured one day that seedlings taste good and she just murked like half my population, luckily i had already made preliminary selections at that point and she got no one special. my first criteria was size 1/3 were bigger than the 2/3 average then as they budded the secondary selections began.

this run I also did 100% outdoor in an attempt to find the plants that perform best under this different environmental stressor ( you need to put plants through the ringer in order to be sure they can perform under all conditions and the phenotype must remain consistent) im trying to make a legit IBL here.

i had started 180 more but the little 16 hole rabbitry i have behind my plants attracted mice and the little bastards cleaned me out ate them all and a bunch of other stuff like 2 packs of tom hills haze!!!!
I also breed American Chinchilla rabbits (critically endangered) and use the poop to fertilize my garden.
these pictures are the ones to really pay attention to with my f3 A1 plant i was able to find a super resinous yummy smelling pink bud plant just like my p306 and i found in my A2 a sativa dominant plant that was taller than all others
B1 i found to have super purple buds and blood red pistils!

yes you heard it! ive done it! really exciting because ive never seen pink or red pistils in real life its a response to sunlight so my other generations didnt show me anything even close to this I also believe this trait to be recessive, ive found it in 4 of my p2107 line and allwere pollinated and seed saved as backup i will push forward with my A1, B1 and A2 plants and keep my G1 (frosty green), B2 (second most purple red pistils), B3 (larger lesser purple red pistils) in reserve.
the f3 was also grown with kellogs patio plus instead of 707 my f4 i plan to use 707 and fertilize with synthetic nutrients and run 24 hours for the first 30 days to really try and push pinkies potential

once pollinated the pistils die back and turn orange so there are only ever 3 or 4 in a group at a time.
next generation i hope to see more.

pollen stil on leaves because of all the resin caked on the A1
remember those males i had in the box earlier? grown up at the bottom i ended up choosing 1 from my p2107 line and 1 from my p306 1 of the p2107 males was intersex and after considering experimenting with him (inspired by dj short) i decided to can him and stick to my no hermi policy

ive got what i needed from this run and harvested it 10 daqys early due to a buttload of neem resistant caterpillars laying into my crop and oncei found out they were eating seed i knew i had to cut them early so i wouldnt lose valuable breeding material for next generation ( ive got at least 75 viable seeds each select plant.)

and these were auto's to start with ?

im actually in process of stabilizing one of my crosses it has yet to show a auto trait
but stem and structure on some seem very rudy
im growing out 15 or so at a time in large containers so i can have some hands on experience with the first round draft picks and keeping 2 party cup clones of each just in case i find a yummy photo along the way i would like to keep as is and still have a clone ready to breed with to save on time

i think half the stuff parroted about auto's comes from people who have no idea what they are talking about



and i believe that breeding them out to F5 - F6 is for stability not so much to lock in the auto trait just for the stability in breeding / crossing

yes i crossed madd krush from breeder henetics gone madd (bred by the late dan christensen)
a 14 week sativa with pink pistils and green buds that reeked of old skool weed.
the auto side of my p1 selections were a purple (about 50%) line of autos thay were an ak47x random purple auto at the second generation in my posession
then over about a year and a quarter or so ive been trying to stabilize traits and get then to breed true for autoflowering, resin production, bud color, pistil color, and effect among other things like breeding in more hardiness and overall tolerance to newb mistakes like transplanting

yes!!! so glad someone cared about my root pics lmao those are actually some f1 males all plants grew that way tho and i think your 100% correct most of the stuff on autos is just the respewing of the same crap over and over and ive seen you grow so i know you know what your talking about. one of the worst things about autos is that transplant shock issue and im on it hard trying to correct it or at least breed it down ro where i can go tray to cup to pot and still get decent yields

what kind of cross did you make? i havent seen it posted on here yet? is that the f1?

ruderalis in nature grows in thin layers of perma frost so it has to grow sideways roots or it wouldnt survive

yes its just F1 but im very happy with it so far
kc45 ( that actually auto'd ) male and a positronics purple haze #1
mom was the first 3 pics dont have a pic of dad but it threw trichs at preflower was short and stalky tight nodes and did not like nutes at all i smoked a bowl of it and got baked was the final decision maker
and the ones i have going all pretty much look like this back right corner is a kc45 male for pollen while the others veg
also have afghan kush ryders going so i may CS one and make some crosses with that

i think i have 15 inside and culled around 15 or more and put outside i kept only the ones that had the crinkly leaves
seeing how the purple haze had crinkly leaves not very scientific but they all smell and are acting like the haze for the most part and the ones outside are just way off

AKR's are in the big containers the middle one i had a stoner moment and its not happy
i was lst'n it and realized it was in one of my hempy buckets and it didnt have drain hols at the bottom just 10" up so its a bit water logged
have 5 on the floor under a led that i rotate under the hps every couple of days they dont all fit :/

very nice! i like the choice of the kc as a male (unique) and purple haze is a killer sativa ive heard (trying to grow some THH but its not looking good because of mice )
