put them into a tent (8x8) under a 1000w HPS at a location away from HQ because some crap was going on in my life that prohibited me from maintaining any plants indoors. (also why I lost all my cuts)

it was cold and damp and a perfect environment for PM which in this case was a good thing, i wanted my strain to be tough so when i spotted PM i chose not to treat it ( a simple alteration of the pH on the leafs surface) and rather see if they could fight it off and finish with the mildew attacking them, i also had a run in with mites but i annhialated those bastards on sight! some fungus gnats but his is expected in a sog with moist conditions and lots of yummy organic stuff for them to chow on.
starting to flower up.

Great thread, thanks again for sharing.

So did you get all autos in F3? (I think I remember you saying close to 100% in another post, may have be someone else)

I like the way you think. I caused a female nice specimen to spawn nanners after disturbing the plants in flowering too much in various ways. After a couple of seconds of regret, I figured I will continue doing just that to potentially weed out those with intersex tendencies from the start. Same thing with high RH, currently 69% (dark), had nights of 80+, figured I let it slide, found one that is not resistant to bud rot and in a way was happy with it o_O

that dude in the middle is a very thick and stout little indica dom (veg structure) male that went pink under cold conditions and was the only male I used in my f1 selections.
I went with 6 females and 1 male in the end in order to maintain some genetic diversity since i knew many of the traits i was after wouldnt start popping up until at least the f2 ( pink pistils, autoflowering, bud color, homozygous alleles within certain plants genotypes for resin, density yadda yadda)
group shots!

yes i did actually! that was me out of well over 100 plants every last one of them was autoflowering, which i thought was odd because i remember reading that youd have to inbreed to something like the f6 to really get all the photo genes out but we shall see i guess.
hahaha yea i love it! how come ive never read any of your posts on breeding? you seem like a real wealth of knowlege shame we havent talked more.

I used P as a designator for Purple groups 1 and 2 for the plants that were purple initially and those that turned purple later, G was for green, the red and blue stickers were for the transplant group they were part of red being 1 and blue being 2 yellow and blue was shorter indica dom (veg) plants

first 4 pics are my p3 plant i believe (unless my pics got crossed)
after the group shot i have some final pics of my boy before he got the chop.
say menthol berry cheese!! my purple plants all had a really nice menthol/berry/cheese aroma and the greens either had that oldschool smell, a putrid vomit smell ( i hated it!) or a happy uppy fruity type of smell ( i love!!)

I ended up using males from my G7 plants seed lot in my f2 ( hoping to impart the extreme resin coverage and awesome fruitiness to its progeny)
the lower pics are my sorting system, dry out the top colas on cookie thingies and let the side buds dry on each plants respective baggie then once dried and recorded seed was extracted and each plant smoke tested for potency/flavor ect.

alright after all the testing and drying i got to work on my f2 population and the generation i knew i should find my autos in. i planted like 150 i think and got about 90 that popped and made it through transplant ( planted them very shortly after harvest like 2 weeks because i dont like waiting so i added this as a criteria for selection only about 60%germed then i trashed any beans that hadnt broke surface after a week of the sign of the first seedling.
kept them under 24 hours light until i found what i was looking for.

here some pics of my p2306 plant ( ithought i had pink pistils indoor i was pretty excited lol)
and some pics of other autos i found in the f2 i scrapped all my photos and all but 2 G7 males selected for veg structure and 1 auto plant of my p2107 line was found to have intersex traits, it was also the first to sprt purple calyx but she was chopped as soon as i knew.

i had 8 autoflowering females total 1 was super weak and culled and 1 had intersex traits and the 6 others were all pollinated by my 2 G7 males for genetic variability while still tightening up my inbreeding.
i got something like 10 males i think ill have to look that up but i had a decent amount of autos to work with.
only 1 of these was purple and it was my p2107 (aka purp 2 #1's 7th seedling)
