Pictures of ready to harvest buds please?

I would love to see some whole bud pictures that are ready to harvest. I'm on my first grow and looking for a visual reference. Thank you in advance

What you're looking for are the trichomes. The way the hairs turn colors as they dry and recede isn't a very good way to time your harvest.
Don't harvest until the trichomes are at least cloudy white to pure white milk... I wait till I get about 40% percent dark amber trichomes.... Get a magnification device - they don't have to cost a lot to do the job - careful though there is a lot of crap mag devices out there...

Read up on this - It took me a long time to learn to harvest by trichomes color and NOT by when I could get unreliable trimmers to get
their butts to the harvest.

Thank you for the reply. I have a magnification device and have read to wait until the tric head is milky to Amber. Harvest time also seems to be a matter of preference. I'm hoping to see photographs of what different people consider ready to harvest buds.

Patience is key. Once you think they are ready, wait a week. Most hairs should have turned amber, i'd say 90 % plus and 50 % trichomes turned a milky color. But that's just a personal opinion.
