Hi, big noob here and I've looked through the FAQ and tried searching for an answer but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.
Do members just upload pics from their cameras to their PCs and straight to the site? I understand how that works! My question is about the security. How safe is it to do this? I want to start my own Grow Journal but this part worries me. Paranoid? Yes I am.
I just want to be safe.
Do people use proxy servers to do this? I use the free version of hidemyass.com whenever I come to the boards. I will probably purchase an account if I need to.
So just to clarify, do members upload pictures through some sort of proxy server and if so, which is recommended? Also is using a proxy server for every single visit a little over the top?
