[PICS] What on earth... my clones are showing sex without force flowering or roots

Ed Rosenthal said that the plants can show sex during their vegetative period.

Is it that the case with my babies? These are my clones. I have 6 mothers. Two will be killed due to inferior genetic characteristics. But all of them have
these in common. Pistils... or at least I think they are.

A little background: Mothers were first grown for 2 weeks under grolux 4' fluorescents. Afterwards they were switched to CFL's. Then to 400w MH's.

Is it safe to say these are females?

All plants have those, male and female. I think what Ed was talking about happens occasionally to a plant that has been vegetative for long periods will sometimes show indications of their sex. Some also say there is a "pre-flower" stage where you first switch to 12/12 and the plant is still vegetative but shows its sex, I just consider this the flowering stage. So to early to tell the sex of those plants right now. :peace:
