Pics of led vs HPS on sister blue dream

I'm using a 330 watt ti smartlamp led and a 400 watt HPS and the major difference I'm noticing is that the plants appear to be happier under the led and flowering times seems to have sped up about a half a week to a week in appearance of the plants. No real size difference in the flowers

Nice side by side grow to compare. I will sub to this thread, and hope more updates to follow.
I will be rooting for the LED side as I have just begun to grow with LEDs as well.
The plants in each room are from the same mother? same mediums, nutes, etc?
The only difference is lighting?

Biggest flaw you have created here is they are literally side by side so it looks like the led with its smaller footprint is over one plant and that same plant is now getting some of the hps to go along with the leds mulit colored spectrum while the one under the hps is getting just the more limited color spectrum. This makes the results pretty muddled and not very clean. That sais I have zero doubt the hps will give a larger, more dense heavier yield then the led plant based on see few hundred grows from led users that just dont seem to come up to hps standards.

This led is supposed to have a 4x4 footprint. It's putting out 330 next to a 400 watt HPS. I'm trying to see which side does better. I'll do a separate tent grow after I harvest these ones to see if the led can actually compete I just don't fully trust the led as I've never used one before. Although the entire Side under the led look like much happier plants than the mixed spectrum in the middle. The led I'm using is the ti smartlamp probloom you can look it up if you want but it's supposed to have the footprint of a 600. So I'm starting to do tests cautiously.

I usually run a 600 watt HPS. This is my first time using a 400 during flower.

Oh also there are only two plants pictured, one under the HPS an one under the led. And the one under the led is over 6 " taller.

I have yet to see an led meet its claimed foot print. from what i have seen leds in the 300 to 400 watt range have at best a middling 3x3 foot print but to get that you have to have it raised up higher then it can penetrate . They seem decent at vegging no complaints on them their but for the money compared to end results they have never impressed me. they seem to be getting better though and using the smaller ones with hps to enhance the par and spectrums they are nice. Ill follow along and see what ya get Im interested in seperate tent comparisons though more. Good luck hope it shows a decisive winner.

I'm assuming from the looks of things it'll probably be a quality difference more than quantity if any. The led is running 330 watts an if it does have a 3x3 footprint it matches the 400 next to it. And the tent they're in is a 3.5 x 5 so they should only have to cover a 2.5 x 3.5 each with some crossover.

My next grow I will move the 400 HPS and 330 led into separate 3x2 tents I have that are identical. But I'm waiting to see if it can hold its own in this situation before I trust it on its own. I am a pretty hardcore HPS for flowering guy.

I grabbed the led from a buddy of mine super cheap so it was worth it but it is a 1200 dollar led so not cost effective for most. So I can't give any opinion on Chinese or cheaper led lights.
