I think it's kinda goofy a name like honey boo boo scares ppl away,I put my money on it, bubba kush x og, can't really go wrong
Yea i peaked some of your threads/posts as your name was in many of the DNA Limited searches I came across. Those OG Grape Krypt's looked amazing and was wondering how it tasted glad you put my mind at ease about that.i was gutted when they sold out.

Im pretty sure the name honey boo boo back fired big time on dna genetics . Not many (if any) grow logs or posts of anyone grabbing a pack and testing em for all of us lol i personally would name it something completely different. However you never know with me and my compulsive bean purchasing I may end up with a pack somedayx.x
. I also came across your Training Day warnings aswell and took mental notes as I have a few freebie packs kicking around was just about to brush the dust off them and try em out. I'll definetly keep a lookout for your 91 krypt grow log if one will be available ;)

If you're vegging under cfls no one will laugh at you :) it's flowering that doesn't often go the greatest under CFL's, even then I've seen, and grown some dank ass pot myself with CFLs. Seemorebuds has a half decent CFL growing book that's dead simple and helped me with my CFL grows.

Some of the stinkiest buds I grew were under cfl's and after doing some reading it could be that CFL's were the cause for the potent smelling herbs. I had Pure AK plants stink out a block of my condo, didn't have a carbon filter at the time learned lessons :)

But generally speaking CFL's put off just as much heat once you get hundreds of watts of them or so, it's just distributed over more bulbs in a bigger space and is easier to cool without spending a lot of money on hoods. But those hoods are a 1 time investment and you'll get better results from a low wattage HPS usually.

I'm in Canada too, we pay out the ass for HPS's/light rigs here, but buy one locally not just to support the local business but because if something fails most stores I've come across will replace it same day. 1 400/600/1000 watt light isn't going to get you in trouble with the electric folks/police, it's the 5 x 1000 watts in a small house that gives people away even then it's usually because A) they were stealing power B) they weren't paying their bill. If you do order light rigs online make sure you click that discrete feature or you'll have a guy walking to your house with hydro equipment for everyone to see, I learned the hard way there too.

Good luck on your outdoor, been wanting to get some plants outside myself... a dream :) Get some pics up :) Love to see them.

I would love nothing more then to even get my hands on a 400w but I'm renting and for reasons like today(landlord has to check alarms, smoke and carbon therefore entering my house) causing me to take down everything and relocate into a closet for a day or two. A hps light with proper venting doesn't seem feasible for me until I own my own house. I grabbed some autos a while back and to test them is the only reason I bought the 200w, it does the job not to bad kinda screwed the white widow, but the og auto I got at 55 days doesn't look to bad. Thanks for the info about the hps all try and take some pics

Good thing you got people from Canada here to help you brother, we could have told you anything and it might work for us but if your growing season is short or has damaging rain or cold through the cycle then it would be tough. That is one thing that we should be documenting too is the weather for those who do outdoor. IT would be a real blessing to everyone.
Hey jw what type of soil mixes you guys run outdoors?

From the moment of release, Honey Boo Boo looked good to me, but there is absolutely no way I would pay for and grow a strain called Honey Boo Boo. If I found out it was the greatest bud in the world, I would still pass.

lol well id love to give it a shot I've been checking out LEDs really like the output, lack of heat, would love to grab one but on the outs with my girl should start saving for place to live instead of grabbing new lights. Tried posting some pictures of the plants in veg will try again. As for the name honey boo boo you could always just call it boo if the name turns you off

I've grown a couple strains out of the limited collection good smoke.

But be warned Training Day herms like mad, good growers had lots of herms on here. I grew it and it didn't herm at all but the smoke was a B+ at best.

Grape Krypt OG is what I grew the most 3-4 runs, it had no "grape" in it. It was bred with grape FX which is a grapefruit strain. This is not what I was looking for, there was grapefruity flavours but not the grape I was after. Was the Grape LA listed as grapefruit?

I don't want to suggest supporting something with such an awful name but Honey Boo Boo's genetics are probably the most interesting to me followed by the LA Con X's.

MY OG Grape Krypt was some racey shit, I took plants at 8-11 weeks and it was the same all the way threw, wasn't enjoyable for me, someone with anxiety issues but some like that and the smoke was definitely strong.
og grape krypt rules outdoors even with its late time finish it ain't mold prone like all l.a con cross
bubba kush has been grow for years here so that can be a good choice but like mr head said beware of training day there is a good reason attitude give them with each pack ok dna limited because it hermies like mad!!!! i've done 2 pack and my friend 3 i got only 1 that dind't do mold , my friends only 2 but the smoke is very good but fuck no hermi for me again

I know this thread is about dna limited edition but has anyone tried anything from rare dankness outside in our northern climate, it seems there strains are bred in Colorado(correct me if I'm wrong). Maybe that climate is close to our northern climate and might be a option?? Anyone tried anything from rare danness outdoors in Canada or anywhere for that matter? Been checking out there lineup pretty impressed with some of there bubba Kush old blue ox crosses there's a couple and there's hillybilly armour which if it wasn't sold out Id be germinating right now. Anyways anyone grown anything from RD outdoors?

@Mr.Head

was there a pattern with which training days went herm (like a specific pheno) or any trait i should watch out for? 6/6 made it through medium afew weeks ago. 100% germ rate on fairly old beans is always a good thing. i know that was awhile back for you anyways. Thanks in advance.

I grew one and got lucky, it didn't her on me but @madininagyal had some herms I think and so did @bigworm6969

Definitly got lucky! Hoping I have similar results but this seems very unrealistic with all the reports..they will be watched closely..more so then others. Definitly curious if they hermed at specific times late in veg or early in flower etc.. or if there completely unpredictable.
another things that made it an awful grow it was the best looking girl that turn hermie on me :cuss:
