Pheno Hunting

I'm a newer grower and excited as could be for my new 9x9 flower room build in just a few weeks. With the building of this room I'll have double the flower space I had before. It's going to be a perpetual grow with a VEG tent just outside the room and a small mother/clone tent as well.

Now the fun part.....I am going to pheno hunt some Durban Posion. I only have 10 seeds to do the first round. Will 10 seeds be enough? Would you suggest popping all of the seeds at once? Should I top or FIM them at all prior to flower? Are there any good tutorials recommend by my fellow Michigan growers?

Where's the durban from i forgot u mentioned it before, no? if you haven't germinated with the same method and environment maybe save a few or go for it. best comparison if you'd do the 1o simultaneously.

I personally like to leave them alone to see what they look like natural.. I know what topping or FIMmng will do.
I tend to go whole packs unless they are rare then as Abe says.

I wish I could drop about 100 and just watch em do what they do.

I would love to drop 100 too but it's not feasible yet. What is the typical amount of seeds when someone pheno hunts?

No norm. Depends on what u have on hand. And well how much sac u hav. 12 + seedling are on my arrest report.

Those I'd do 1/2 at a time

do 5 at a time and avg 1 or 2 decent female.

Well if it's decent I would expect every girl to be good. You are lookin for the one you like the best..
sometimes one really stands out.. Usually one stinks a little more or better structure.

I'd do 5 at at time like above. Pick best 2. Drop next 5, pick best 2, run allm4, pick best 1. Plant count sucks when pheno hunting beans.
