Hi,

I am new to the Hydroponics and have built my own DWC Bubbler,
Got most parts for free and the rest come cheap, the only thing that I cannot get is the Nutes and the PH stuff ( in 200km Radius )
online it would cost me more than twice the price for shipping.

so after almost giving up I've read about Organic Tea Compost/Manure

the Question is.....

Do I need to Use Ph up/down with organic teas or not

I'll try to grow some tomatoes and chili peppers before my first batch just to try it out and not lose my precious beans for they are also hard to get

Will be posting journals after...

Thanks in advance,
SCD

You have the intenets right? I mean you are posting here, so there's eBay or any hydro shop that will ship. Unless you're underage and trying to do something illegal and mom/dad can't find out.

As stated in start of thread
  • online it would cost me more than twice the price for shipping.

so if it would say 30 $ for the nutes , shipping would be around 75 $
I already bought the net pots from ebay and the delivery cost me 11.99 Dollas where as the item it self was 7.29

You shoulda got the up and down when you got the netpots...where the hell you live that ph down and up is going to cost 75 in shipping?! Either way someone has to pay for shipping. The hydro store you'd get it from does and it will be reflected in the price. But 75 dollars?! Hot damn.

Yes you will have to spend money to get some good medicine, but look at it this way the money you spend now will repay itself when you harvest!! If you cheap out now, you will get a cheap harvest, now not saying PH up/down will make that difference but if you have no option locally, open the wallet and get the right stuff. It doesn't have to be the best, baddest but it atleast should give you peace of mind that it works and will do what intended.

To answer your Question:

I'm currently living in the Middle Fucking East Eg:

mid_east.jpg

can you find where I live ( in deep shit ) damn Arabs.

and the shipping is calculated by weight so no matter where or when I make the purchase, ( if not free shipping world wide, which is impossible)
it will still cost me around that much, hell even more using other shipping methods

There are no hydro store, Walmart,711,HomeDepot etc... not even in the neighboring countries.
.......

I have a green thumb with dirt so I'll be growing in dirt for the first batch.

my point is ... if some one could be helpful and post some DIY every day household stuff that can be used as substitutes

You could check out (ehydroponics.com) they have a wide selection of nutes. and shipping via UPS is pretty cheap. in fact, some of the nutes even have FREE shipping.

[h=3]We are currently unable to ship out of the USA[/h]
I have a US mail box but that is the problem, First 1/2 KG ==> 11.420 USD + for second 1/2 KG ==> 8.499 $ and so on
for a kilo and a half of shipment will cost me 28.42 $ God damn Aramex. DHL and FedEx are no different..

depending on the shit you use (bat guano for instance) it will drop the ph like a rock, if you order something like advanced nutrients ph up and down this shit is very concentrated and you'll use much less than most ph up or down.

Mostly I'll be using Cow shit :D, chicken and pigeon shit I only use for Dirt farming... bat guano cannot be found here although I see a couple of bats every now and then by dusk
but been wondering for years where they live; cuz there are no caves or something of this sort in here ????
