Ph runoff is 4.9 advice??

Is this too low? Just switched from tap (430ppm 7.9ph) to a new r.o. system (3ppm 6.5ph) because I was told that the tap was way too high. It would explain a lot of the problems I've been having with this and previous times. I tested the runoff of the feeding today and it was 4.9, seems like it should be higher. Just calibrated my PH meter and batteries are fresh so I know it's good.

I don't know if I can fully trust the test though because I did not catch the water directly from the pots. Rather I just tested it straight from the water catch, which I usually just leave until it evaporates. Hope the picture helps show what I'm talking about. Any advice/help is appreciated. Thanks.

Personally, i don't bother testing runoff unless i see that the plants are showing ill effects. If they're happy and green then i just let them do as they like to do.

They're looking much better since switching to r.o. water. So I guess I'll just not worry too much. Thanks

I personally find from reading the forums that we as humnas have a tendancy to make issues out of nothing. If they're looking great then they're probably feeling great :)

They look good to me, those bottom leaves usually take the brunt of the damage and may just be leftover effects from the too high PH.
