ph or heat problem? NEED HELP!

Hi everybody!

I'm growing inside for the first time. I have some outdoor growing experience with success.

I managed to get one OG Kush seed which i germinated and planted. I don't have much money cus i don't go to work at the moment and wanted to do a cheap grow. I thought i'd buy more things(like more lamps, a fan and ONA block gel for smell) when i happen to get some more money. It's now three weeks old. I began to notice brown and yellow spots on leaves last weekend. Yesterday i also began to see some even darker spots. It's getting worse every day and affecting more leaves. I'm so damn worried!

I don't have a fan yet, but the closet door is not closed all the way and i open my room window couple times a day. It's not that hot that way, but when closed for some time and opened later, there is some noticable heat. Last weekend i had to close it for a longer time than usual and the first time i i noticed problems was after that day. I don't know if it was from heat but now the closet is always open and i try to ventilate the area better.
Also, a blowfly somehow got into my room and around the plant, but i managed to get it away from her.

I'm growing in a closet with 2x 45 4400k cfl(i didn't find any 6500k in my area and didn't want to order)

I'm growing in a soil meant for tomatoes (been having success with it)

I'm giving her tap water and 5-5-5 NPK nutes.

I'm watering when i feel that the soil is dry and warm.

I don't know ph for my tap water and tought it wouldn't matter cus i've had a good grow outside with it (also with 5-5-5 nutes)

I don't have a fan yet but i'm planning on getting one tomorrow(also a ph tester)

Also, i fimmed her so the new growth looks weird naturally.

Maybe it's from ph or maybe heat? Any help appreciated!

Off hand looks like p or k deficiency...I guess it's soil.needs to be 6-7 or you will lockout important nutrients.

My guess, not heat.

pH imbalance causing Cal/Mag (likely Cal) lockout and poor soil drainage. Also, at that size that you've fed it at all means you're giving it too many nutes. Get yourself a PPM and pH meter.

I've got 2 og kush seeds going now, 8 weeks into flowering. Mine didn't need to feed until 4/5 weeks old. They like good airflow and minimal nutes. PH is definitely important, my watering/feeding ph is around 6.5. Keep an eye on the ph and feed her some cal mag, she'll love it. Good luck and happy growing.

Its intervienal chlorosis on old leaves with minor marginal necrosis. Sounds like a P or mag problem. Check your pH if phosphorus is locked out mag might be too cause both problems

Its one thing to do a ''cheap grow'', its a whole other thing going in blind.
A PH pen, Nutrient Wand, and a hygrometer are 3 absolute MUST HAVE items for ANYBODY wanting to learn to grow properly.
Without all that it wouldn't matter if you had unlimited space and lighting you still wouldn't be able to grow a healthy plant.

Its the medium causing this . The cheap soil gets salty and burns the edges. Try to use a better medium next time or when you re pot.

Not true . I grow large healthy plants green from top to bottom at the end with no ph adjustment, nutrient wands etc. I use canna terra coco with terra vega and flores. Very easy .
With standard soil and hydro you need the ph adjust.

I'm also presuming you arnt a first time grower.

My leavs tips also getting brown I'm growing organic weed with bonemeel chicken poop banana peals watering with rain water but add lemon sap for ph water reads 6.8 when I test r/o water with my kit it gives me a calour light pink I think its 7.5 I'm using a pool test kit
