pH - Nutrient In vs Runoff

Hi

I adjust my nutrient to pH 5.8. I water every 2nd day. I get a little runoff, but not much. I did a second water today so I'd get a decent amount of run off so I could check it. The runoff pH was 4.8.

Should I be concerned about this reading? I ask because I'm starting to get a touch of yellowing on a few fan leaves, and I suspect it's magnesium lock-out due to the coco pH being too low. Bit hard to see on the pic, but it's there.

Coco with 25 % perlite and worm castings.
Nutrifield Coco A+B at 1/2 strength.
Nutrifield Fulife at full strength.
Flairform CMX (cal & mag) and Flairform Budstorm (P & K) at full strength
OGP Original organic growth promotant.
Seasol seaweed extract.

Should I do a flush, water more to get more runoff, or adjust the nutrient less to get a higher pH in my nutrient, or all of the above? :)

Also, should I be feeding at every watering? I figure that running 1/2 strength nutes at every watering is OK?

Overall, do the girls seem to be OK for just starting 3rd week of flowering?

They look like they are right on track for starting the third week.

I think I see the yellowing you are talking about and I wouldn't freak out just yet. First, I'd start feeding full strength at every other watering instead of half strength at every watering. Run just plain water every other time....runoff is your friend. Just that might stop the yellowing. If not, then flush.

Thanks - first grow so it's nice to know it's going OK so far. I did a flush, and the runoff pH is up a little (5.1) now. It's still lower than what people recommend, but the girls seem OK so I'll stop stressing about it.
I think I'll carry on and maybe do a flush once a week to be on the safe side.
One thing I've noticed - the LEDs make leaves look worse. Under daylight they look much healthier.

Yeah, I started growing a long time ago and have never tested run off. After reading on here I decided to test my runoff....I don't remember what it was, but it was pretty low. I still don't test my runoff. I ph everything the 6.8 before it goes in and my plants never show any signs of problems.

Less is more for the first grow, you really just want to let them grow. I don't think you'll need to flush that frequently, but as always let the girls tell you what to do. Don't set your waterings according to days, set your watering by when the plant is dry....yep, sometimes I have to go water 1 of 12 plants because she is the only one that is dryI try for a good amount of runoff on each watering. I'm in promix, so I can't give too much coco advice.
