PH keeps dropping

I was having exact same problem. Ph would go from 5.8 to 4.8 in 12 hours. I added a chiller and the problem stopped overnight. My theory is fluctuating res temps = fluctuating ph
temprature does not affect PH in any way. none. Unless your REALLY cold, then you can have differential uptake of some micro nutrients.. that could cause some issues. If I had to guess, you were low on o2 in the roots zone and something bad was happening to the roots. Low o2 CAN affect ph.

Yeah... I did all those mobile spots till I was old enough to get my own place. Now I just smoke down in Peters Creek.

Once i moved out of the that area i find no real reason to come back! Joined the army and when i came back years later
it wasnt the same so i moved on!

Thank you thank you ALL, I love the debate back and forth. I'm having abnormal pH drop on 15 gal res, .5 DOWN in 12hrs, they are drinking alot of water though, but are topped off with fresh RO water, so Nute burn too high ppm is not the issue, I'm around 900ppm week 7 bloom. But they are showing tip/edge curl and 'ram horning' (LMAO, first time I heard that! I thought foxtailing was what big ass colas do when they are blooming, a genetic trait). I've had no issues all grow, running AN 3 part pH perfect plus additives and Great White. I suspect I have issues in the roots, bad smell was the first sign. Sounds weird, but I always smell my reservoir every, multiple times, so when it changes, I can definitely tell. Bad Smell + Ph dropping = Problem. I've done everything, h202, flushing, azatrol, EXCEPT, EWC tea. I WILL be trying this to see if it solves my problem, I will post back here. Thank you very much again for the info.

My PH is all over the place with this plant im growing. 5 gal dwc, root mass is huge.

I'll set it to 5.8, next day it'll be like 5.4 with the EC dropping. I'll up the EC back to normal plus some more and get the PH back to normal and then next day PH will be 5.9 and EC about the same.

It had root issues in the beginning but I fixed that right away with some tea. Now I got the white back in my roots and they look healthy. Still keeping up with the tea.

I notice that when it is low like 5.4 and I add say a gallon of 6.7PH tap water it doesn't raise it, like people report here raising their res PH with tap water.

Did you double check your ph meter?

It was right on when I checked it when I first started having issues(like 3-4 weeks ago). Did both 4.0/7.0 and 1.413 EC. Before that I didn't check/calibrate for a few months which was why I wanted to check it.

Plant is healthy, thick green foliage. Drinking almost a gallon/day.

I was wondering if it was possible i'm adding too much PH down/up inadvertently because it takes a while for them to react with the nutrient solution, giving a false reading of normal and slowly dropping overtime? I've never had to use this much PH up/down with Ionic nutes, using Dynagro i'm using like 6ml+ down(after mixing nutes water goes from 6.7-8.4). Now i'm feeding higher(1.45EC) I notice the mix leaves me at a lower PH to start with around 5.8.
