Ph and ec levels

Hi all through my grow which is wk 5 of flower now ph has been stable around 5.8 and rises slightly so added abit of ph down and ec been roughly stable but drops slightly, but this wk ec seems to be rising even when ive added water and ph im now using ph up which ive not the entire grow, ph was 5.0 this morning so i adjusted to 5.8 then less than 12 hrs later its bk at 5 is this normal please advise.

This is common in hydro systems. This happens to me every cycle at the same time, around 5 weeks in flower. They are drinking more water than nutes at this time, that's why your ec is rising. Mine seem to like an ec of .8 to 1.0 at this stage with a ph closer to 6.0. That seems to stabilize things, at least for me.

Yeah a rising EC means more water is being taken in than nutes, which will lead to overfeeding. Also causes the PH to drop. Just lower your feed/ec, i see this as well at mid flower it begins to decline in what it wants for feed.
