as the title says I was wondering if my cakes are ready for the chamber I am growing very impatient as I innoculated them New Years Eve, but it being my first try I'm pretty sure I used too much moisture thus slowing the process, I start out with 18 jars, I have 6 left so clearly my sanitation procedure needs a lot of work,

at least I got this far for first timer though, somebody said I should leave them for another week then suggested dunk n roll?

lastly I know it's hard to say but I told I would get roughly 1 to 2 ounces, given there's only 6 jars left, is that each time I dunk n rolll them or all together?

Dunk for 24 hrs then roll after jars have consolidated for 1 week. My avatar is what one flush can look like on a cake. Its about 3-5 grams dry.

So each cake can produce 3_5 grams, dry several times, so me saying several ounces wouldn't be far off huh...

Nice!

No no, its usually a total of 3-5 grams total between the flushes. Some flushes may only be one big mushroom, some may be a cluster fuck of mushrooms, you may get all flushes at once if you have them coming in behind one another.

See, I've heard of people getting a pound out of a tote, using birdseed or another substrate,

is there any validity to that and would you suggest me moving on to grain culture or stick to cakes?

You can get pounds in bulk grows, go to shroomery and sign up. Read and learn. Monotubs and pretty fun for bulk grows.

Stick with cakes until you learn everything, including the mushrooms life cycle. When you feel comfortable with your sanitation methods and fruits after a few grows move on to bigger things if you wish. Or stick to cakes if its strictly for personal use.

I was thinking, these monotubs must let off a lot of excess co2, doing them in my garden on a perpetual basis would highly aid in my ppm, correct?

I was wondering what the ideal conditions for this fruiting chamber are, I'm guessing 100% humidity and 60' f...

but I have a given take, and using a cold air from room and pumping in air thru air pump from a fish tank, but the more air I pump, the lower the humidity gets...

Whats optimal?

I soaked them last night, did the dunk n roll a little bit ago.

Here's some pics!

One of them broke in half, had a huge air pocket in it in the middle, it was white and crazy looking...

Hope I get more than an oz, I started with 18 jars, finished with 6...

I think I'm going to do monotubs with birdseed maybe, I dunno, also I was thinking of injecting some dead trees outside for next year...

Well see, any suggestions are appreciated!

I thought it was suppose to go from 80' down to 65? Like were simulating a change from summer to fall..?

I can easily get it up to that with my heating pad I just want to make sure you're sure

Your FC IS FUCKED up dude, look up a proper FC. Look up a SGFC, you want 1/4 inch holes 2 iches apart in a grid like pattern on all 6 sides...

Its not a shotgun style as your suggesting, I forget what they call this, but it works.. Air comes in through pump and leaves through positive pressure... The holes, usually with cotton stuffed in them are only to get fresh oxygen in, that's all...

Correct?

After looking at it again I realized, I never got anywhere with my own ingenuity and innovations that's making me go with the more popular method...

I drilled holes and added perlite after sterilizing myself and the room as much as possible...

you are right I was wrong...

thank you for your advice great catch...

Dur da dur

Lol
