Hey, how much compost (home made, from the compost bin at the back of the garden xD) and how much perlite should i put in a 3 litre pot? Do I need most of it to be compost, but with a handful or so of perlite mixed in?

65% soil and 35% perlite.
too much perlite restricts root growth as the roots cant grow throught the perlite and therefore have to grow around the pelite slowing down root development and growth.
