PeakSeedsBC Kush Crosses

Just thought I'd throw this out there just because.

I was speaking with some other folks speculating about the kush strain used in the Kush crosses. I decided to shoot MikeJ an email and ask. He said "Sea-of-Green Purple Kush is what it's called."

For anyone that's interested. So I'm going to assume this strain does great in a sog. :bigjoint:

I can see it based on the blueberry kush I ran. There are a few really killer purple kush cuts that float around BC. I have little doubt he's using one of the good ones. There are a lot of different versions out there though. A guy not far from me has one that tests over 30% THC-A. Shit knocks you down hard though. Can't function with it.

Looks like you were right OGEG. :) Got my order today with a nice surprise.

Sweet Skunk x C99. I guess I had it backwards back there. C99 dad not mom. He also sent me C99 from 2 different mothers and wants me to report to him my preference of the 2.

From left to right: C99#3 beans, C99#2 beans, SS x C99, SS x C99, repackaged for storage.

So are you going to pop any of those beans or are you just going to tease us with them?

Hell ya! 1-2 weeks All of them are getting germinated to get ready for the next round. The Kush NL are almost half way done flowering. I snapped pics last night but they all came out blurry. :( Didn't use the tripod.

I took mikej's recommendation of flowering 2 weeks after germination for the sweet skunk, but did it for the KN also . It's also a nice way around me not having a true perpetual setup. I don't have the space for a veg room and mothers but I do have the space for a shelf with t5ho's and seedling trays. :) I'm liking how it's turning out. Smaller pots and more plants. Seems a smarter idea when growing from seed.

I dropped 6 Peak kush berry a couple weeks back with 6 hashberry and 3 sonic fly. The kush berry are throwing of a really nice deep funk at the starting of the third node. Really tight structure, beautiful indicas. I've run Mike's northern kush and C99 before and both were great!

Here are my kush berry at a couple weeks old. They are putting of some deep sweet stink, very loud for such young plants. I'm trying to attach pictures so we will see how that works. On a side note the smallest of these kush berry tried to grow it's tap root up in the air and the tip died a bit then had a shell helmet that did not want to come off. That this little plant is alive much less thriving is a miracle and a testament to the quality of genetics Mike at Peak Seeds BC provides... :)

I would usually be running coco core with veg + bloom ro formula but I have some days I can't water so these were sprouted in ff happy frog and transplanted with happy frog. When they fill out I give them a 1/4 tsp of the veg + bloom dirty formula every other watering. PH is a 6.6 every watering and seem to keep them happier then 6.5. Nutrient waterings only hit .5 ec and I also add a little potassium silicate. I'm waiting for girls to show and then I'll run clones and see if I have keepers. the Peak kush berry plants are LOUD! After a watering they will over power my Phresh 400 filter. They smell great but I'm investigating in a second filter to coupe... :) Deep and funky with a hint of fruit or berries at the end, like OGEvilgenius stated purple kush and blueberry... :)

My Peak KBs, almost 5 years later, look exactly like the ones in these pictures. Such a nice structure to them!
