Has anyone here tried the peak seeds sweet skunk? I just received an email from him and he said he personally has seen his sweet skunk do well outdoors on the island in BC. So he suggested I go with that next summer. He also said he had good feedback about his timewarpX northern lights outdoors but he can't guarantee anything since the summer has so many variables outdoors, which is true as I'm quickly learning this summer!

Ran Sweet Skunk last year. Wasn't close to really ready until closer to the end of Oct. I imagine some phenos will do better. I didn't think it was well suited for outside here though. His TW crosses will be better. Mine are almost finished. But I wouldn't run them over Anesthesia based on what I'm seeing.

I did NL x TW.

Excellent to know that you've tried growing it out. (sweet skunk). Don't worry, I know a guy that grows anesthesia so I may try to get some off of him if I am around BC next summer. I remember your post where you said peak seeds were really good. So I thought I'd get some of their gear.

what strains of peak seeds do you think would make it outdoors in BC OGE? His timewarp - northern lights maybe?

His TW NL is good outside. His SSxTW is probably going to be a little stronger smoke. His SS would do well for you in Australia I'd bet.

For some reason it took a while for Mike to receive my order, so to compensate he sent me 10 free Kush Skunk seeds to go with the Northern Skunk that I had ordered. Pretty dang cool if ya ask me... So, I guess I will take a shot at a Kush Cross after all...

Northern Skunk (Same plant pictured above)

Northern Skunk (This individual was completely different than the plant pictured above, both in high and growth. I'm guessing Sweet Skunk dominant. It has a very uplifting energetic high with citrus tones). My favorite of the crop.

I have no frickin clue which plants these were because I forgot to label the photo when I was playing around in mspaint trying to get the full zoom (iNOOB, mspaint lol)

As a strain with "controllable" odour, the Northern Skunk appeals to me. It's a beautifully coloured plant pictured above too. How is it in terms of flavour and yield? And is it one to be avoided by noobs, or would it be a nice strain to start out with as a 1st attempt using an indoor DWC / LED setup? Nice thread regardless. Thanks for the info. Been reading some nice comments re: Peak.

His hybrids should be relatively forgiving. If you end up with something Sweet Skunk dominant it will be a bit N sensitive. And yes, your pheno looks very Sweet Skunk dominant. It's nice smoke.

I'm terrible at describing flavors but I'll try my hardest. First off I am a n00b. This was my 2nd grow soilless hydro. It's been purely guess work this far as I know no growers and have no online mentor, but have done a ton of reading. Still very confused with feeding.

I vegged for 30 days, most plants yielded 2 oz of top shelf (not including the trim or larf). A couple plants gave 3 and in between 2 and 3. For smell and flavor, the plant pictured above has spicy hashy smell. It was quite low odor through growth. The other Northern Skunk I grew was completely different in look and cannabinoid profile. The other one is pure head high with citrus tones. I love it.

Thanks again for all the info, it's much appreciated. There are some pretty ladies in this thread! My situation will be much like yours (hopefully!!). I just rechecked this thread, but don't think you've mentioned your setup. What typed of medium, lighting and nutes are you using, if you don't mind?
