This is my first post on rit and this is a first grow. It's an auto incredible bulk in soilless peat moss+Vermiculite+Pearlite used gen Hydro Flora trio. Two extra days off and would like to see it cut to take advantage of the extra time

Mostly see through trics not too many cloudy and no amber...what is the bud density like is it firm..the thing is if there are a few or more than a few cloudy tric's then harvest if the bud is mature enough... i have 6 inc bulk auto's there a week old i have done an inc bulk normal and got 3 oz dry...when did they turn to flower?

So I can't check bud density as they are just starting their night cycle, but I know it started flowering around day 33-34 is that when I start counting for breeder estimation to harvest? On all the sites it says something around 55-70 days from seed to harvest...? and Im now at day 97. I was pretty scared cause I feel I messed up and flushed a bit early this about week three of flushing working on 4, leaves are getting dry and crispy as I'm sure they're being consumed by the plant to save the buds. So not only am I worried about harvesting I'm worried that she won't make it fully as I can't give her nutes. As far as trich's I use a 30x jeweler's loupe its what I used to take the photos (really freaking hard!) It's so hard to see the trich's for me anyways so I have a 60-100x handheld on the way I can't tell for sure but I think I see a lot of cloudy and a bit of clear from what I think I see a very miniscule amount of amber at random spots... but I just can't get a good view of them. Ill post up what I think the buds feel like when they wake up

given the numbers you have stated caanan18 you are ready to chop you nare nearly 9 weeks into flower the breed you are growing are done in 7 to eight weeks....dont listen to the dates given by the seed supplier the are allways massivly optimistic and invariably plants go a lot longer...chop your plant dry your buds and call this grow a success and onto the next mate...its all experience mate do some normal fem seeds 8 weeks vedge 8 weeks flower autoes can be a pain on your first grow...

Well thanks sir I'll be sure to do that I'll definitely chop it then :leaf: :-) :leaf: Actually there's been a Super Lemon Haze growing alongside the auto and since it was a first grow I figured there's enough space why not wait to switch to flower when the auto finished and have a huge yielding single plant (took a few clones from her of course) she's pretty darn big I'll post a pic of her sometime today I hope. But vegging for over 3 months should definitely yield quite a bit. Thanks bud I really do appreciate the help us newbies always need sound advice from a solid grower

anyway nice one on the grow caanan 18 give me a heads up on the chop when you do it mate..look up on you tube lollipopping and topping which are ways to train your plants and get better yeilds.

I think eugene is right I mean how is it that I'm almost 100 days in on an auto that's not a super auto or anything like that? Those pictures were taken at least 3 days ago and by now I feel there should be little to no clear but again I'm no expert I'm not certain. I've read that too early would be an awful high but seeing as the plant is gettin closer and closer to dying I'd rather not risk it dyin on me either? Or at the very least losing a lot of potency waiting too long... Also here's the SLH she just got fed 2 gallons so she's still perkin up a bit lol. Plus I tucked some fans to expose some newer chutes. Also as you can see the auto is lookin pretty sad :(101_2243.JPG 101_2242.JPG 101_2239.JPG

When light turns on squeeze the buds they should be dense/ hard. Don't expect brick hard of course once the top buds and lower are dense I'd chop I personally gave up on trichomes etc.

you could put a uvb light or leave it a couple of days in the dark, but I don't think it will be an awful high but just not as comfortable as when most trichomes are amber

Thanks all of you I really appreciate the input! Eugene I had her last wake up yesterday when she went to sleep put her in the closet and I've kept her in there all day. anzo they aren't all that hard but as eugene said she's at the end of her rope so don't got too much choice lol. Felipe, to be honest when you said that stuff earlier it had me really worried a ruined the entire crop phew lol. I was more looking for an upper high as opposed to more of a relaxing couchy high from what I hear you get that more when a majority is cloudy with some amber course I don't seem to have too much amber so I dunno. I just hope it goes well guys. Thanks again everyone I'm gonna go get her now and start trimmin her up.

Well I thought I had hit post but apparently I did not lol My god it took me 12 hours at least to get it all done.... I need some better shears and I need to get better at trimming I guess? All in all I'm just glad I'm done I'll post up pics when I get the chance! :D

you shouldn't ever be going that long with an auto they are normally quick, how much did it yield, was it the dried up plant that plant looks very bad what happen to it?

That's what I thought, yes it is that sad lookin plant next to the beautiful one lol. Dunno the exact weight it yielded, the last post I put up was the day I was chopping her and trimmin her up I have pics of the drying buds. They're hanging up in my closet as I type this.

Dude listen to real growers.

Don't chop. @anzohaze is right. Put up a full plant pic.

I have 3 autos right now in dwc on day 61 and the have more that 3 weeks left, if not 5 weeks.

Harvest when:
1. No clear trics
2. No new pistols
3. Buds are firm to the touch

Cannabis ripens like any other fruit or flower. THC is only present in the head of a mature tric.

It is a balancing act. Those 3 rules have to be taken into consideration.

Unfortunately like we were talking earlier about she was at the end of her rope.... I had to chop her least that's what it really felt like the buds are dryin at the moment....101_2244.JPG 101_2246.JPG 101_2254.JPG

Thank you though hondagrower I wish I hadn't made the mistake of flushing so early but it definitely tied up my options chock it up as a growing lesson I guess haha.

Hope someone more experienced then me can field that one. My own personal thoughts are leave it a bit longer as I think I see a bit of clear still in there but it's hard to tell the pictures are a bit hard to see. Believe me I know how hard it is to get solid pictures of the trichs lol

that seems like way too long for a auto flower, most of them are done in 60-70 days from seed
