Party Cup Grow

Think I will grow in a cup just to see how I do against a group of decent growers.Can't upload pics. so I wont enter contest.Have grown an auto in past. Never in a party cup. Couple of questions: Are any strains better for a cup. I have only had roots bind once.Used Knife to slice around container, worked for that plant. How is that handled in a small cup?

just cut out the bottom of the cup and replace it with a mesh screen that way they get air pruned like a smart pot. an auto in a cup wouldnt take well to root pruning but if kept on 12/12 or less could do decently in 1

if your dead set on it then make sure to do it early on, at about this stage before the roots are too thick then youll shock the plant. just pull it out of the cup like your doing a transplant, hack away the 4 sides and bottom, fill and replace with new soil and bada bing your back in action
