Maybe it´s not the right time to smoke, sometimes life is pleasant and weed is pleasant, too. Sometimes life sucks and weed sucks, too.

Did you test any other drugs, since the first smoke you had ? A new unmedicated drugaddiction could explain the new changed mood or weedeffect. Even one nose of cocaine, heroin, meth or something can make your soul addicted.

I have read and noticed w myself high THC, like wax THC which can reach 70% or Tahoe OG which can be above 25% can increase anxiety. i noticed low THC / High CBD relaxes me. my fav strand is probably pennywise which gives me a muscle relaxer happy feel. VCDC i get no euphoric feel but heavy limbs and relaxed w no anxiety. id bet that would make a huge difference. look up both strands on leafly or if there are reviews here look them up. you may thank me.
I had a very simular reaction, and i found out by accident that cannabis can cure my rosin/bho related anxiety lol.

It took about 14-16 months of dabbing everyday untill i got hit with anxiety, by the 10th month i was taking retarded slabs to the dome because my tolerance was just way too high at that point. Once i started getting anxiety to the point of numb nerves i said fuck it and started smoking flowers again.. Surprise surprise i could get lit like a motherfucker off a simple ass bowl of kush, oh and it actually mellowed the anxiety feeling from rosin/bho if i smoked right after dabbing.

I felt the same way. The guy next to me calmed me down and told me it was just my imagination, that everything would be ok, and it happens to every one sooner or later. He said I would feel better in the morning.

My only question was "ok, are these handcuffs supposed to make me bleed this much?". ;)

I figured out how to make this transition into not being paranoid.
Its called cross addiction.
I either drink, take pills or meth before i smoke and that takes the edge off the paranoia.
I was kidding about the meth, I never mix that,, with weed.

But honestly I used the pain pills to take the edge off the paranoia
then made sure I smoked several times a day for about a week
Boom, I got hair on my chest

I`m certainly not recommending this to anyone.
I was using the pills for an injury legally for a short period
But I did use that week to get my tolerance up.

Also huge, set and setting. Its dopey but it was critical for me.
Made sure people wouldn't be around, made sure I had podcast, video games, coffee n nicotine.
All that shit tough guy.

Get an indica or a hybrid known for being "stoney" or causing "Couch-Lock", avoid Sativas or anything described as being "Energetic", "Cerebral" or "Creative".

Good, commonly available strains known for being good for low/no anxiety are UK Cheese, Hash Plant, Nordle, Bubba Kush.

If you grow your own, i very strongly recommend Sweet Seeds Dark Devil Auto. It's a hybrid with a good amount of Kush/Afghani genetics, but also has a Jack Herer in the heritage which seems to keep it from getting too stoney. It's my "Home from work, but still have to get shit done" strain.

If you do keep using cannabis, you'll eventually develop a tolerance and you won't get anxious as much or even at all.

There are a number of reasons that this can happen. It may be the difference in strain that is causing irregular effects (i presume that each of the 5 times have been from different supplies), or it may have something to do with your mood when you start smoking.
