Paradise Seeds- Wappa?

So we've been doing our homework and research on this strain and need one final vote (from you cats n kittens) as to the Wappa. Has anyone grown this strain? I understand it's an indica which has an "up" and active /happy buzz without couch-lock vegging. Sounds great for our lifestyle. I hear Paradise Seeds is a Great co. but can't find too much info on the strain "Wappa". Anyone have personal experience smoking/growing this strain>?

everthing i have grew from paradise has been great..i have seen reviews on this from other guys at thctalk and they loved it..my outdoor staple strain is delahaze..i have had one the worst summers and falls due to it being wet and its the only one that has not even showed signs of mold..i been foliar spraying now with green cure and liquid copper to try keep that shit at bay..i wish i had knew about greencure 3 months ago it would have saved me alot of weed..all other strains had some bud rot this year except the delahaze..i got their cheese ibl, jackey white, sweet purple and delahaze in the line up for next year as well.. i had a buddy that did a jorurnal of wappa about 2 yrs ago on thctalk and it was a absolute beauty strain to look at..could only imagine what it smelled and looked like in person..haze strains take forever to fully mature but in my experience i have found they can handle the wet weather alot better then most indica i have grown..

My bestfriend grew it a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, for some odd reason, I don't have the best memory. I will be talking to him tomorrow afternoon and I will get him to refresh it some. I know we both have had good results with Paradise Seeds in general and I am pretty sure Wappa was one of those good results.

Thanks for the informative reply bro :-P We lost a few small indica (lemon kush) buds to rot this season also -grrr... I may give Paradise Seeds' Delahaze a run since we love hazes and you said it's mold-resistant. I'd hate to think all our work during spring/summer would go to shit due to bud-rot (ugh..). We are happy with our Western Winds so far, they're coming along slowly but surely (and as you say, the sativas are definitely more mold-resistant than indicas). I have heard Durban is also a reliable strain, even during the worst season. Have you ever grown D.P. ? I hear the taste is fantastic (like black liquorice candy) and it is said to carry a great sativa buzz. I would be weary about trying Dutch Passions' version (hermies) but Sensi Seeds has Durban. What do you think man?

I grew out some Wappa from Paradise about 18 months ago.
Very easy to grow with great vigor and rapid growth.
Out of five girls there was one outstanding plant. Four were good, but one was VERY potent and tasty, with a supercharged sativa like initial buzz which becomes more stony after about an hour or so.
The first part of the high is delightfully invigorating, then out comes the sledgehammer.
I enjoyed this strain very much.
Good luck!

i have never grew any of DP gear although i only got 1 frisen dew to try out next year and see if it does handle the weather like it says..this year here was the worst on rec in 10 yrs for rain but im also gonna be taking preventive measures next year as well with greencure, neeem oil,3-1 safer spray and liquid copper..u will love the delahaze its gonna be a staple strain from here on out for me and i will build everthing else around it so it will gurantee i get a great harvest no matter what or how much rain we get..next year might be really dry but i want to be prepaired..sucks i lost 90% of the blue dream bc i really wanted to try that out for a while lol saved a few limbs..i got 4 strains next year from paradise..i got the sweet purple, delahaze, jackey white, and cheese IBL..i got sensi super skunk and early skunk for next year to but i have never grew or tried the durban but read good things about it but coming from sensi its got to be good imo..paradise has great genetics and they do what they say they do on the descriptions..here is my delahaze got about 3 weeks left i figure..im going to my plot here in a bit and i will get some more pics of the delahaze..u really cant go wrong with this strain really bro its jsut great..its a complete smoke in my opinion..004.JPG 001.JPG 002.JPG 003.JPG 005.JPG

Awesome brother ! - So I am glad to get your opinion about Paradise Seeds. This makes another positive review about them, and thanks to your input, we will def run Delahaze outdoors next season. I need a hardy strain, just in case the weather is shitty. Tell me, does the Delahaze have a nice "haze" uplift? I'm really looking for a good, daytime sativa that won't make us forget and or be lazy. I'm going to do more research on this strain, while I wait for your reply. Thanks again !

oh yea soon as u take a big pipe or bong rip u get that hazey, piney skunky taste in ur throat then its nothing but pure ceberal high for a good 1 to 1.5 ..delahaze will make u get creative..if u smoke to much though it will TKO u..be warned that anywhere u have sweets u will have to eat alot of them to satisfy the beast..its one those smokes that u dont think u are that fked up till u get out in public and then u realize how high u are..but when u smoke at the house it makes u want to get out cut grass, work on the car, trim ur other plants that u got hanging to dry to perfection lol at least it does me like that..the come down isnt really that bad either just enuff indica in it to make u lay down pain free and rest very well..make sure u get u a half gallon of icecream as well so u can eat ur self to sleep lol its just really a great outdoor strain and u can go wrong..i wish i had bought a 5 pack and had all them out right now..i had 2 this year but one got eat up by a deer or ground hog bc i had forgot to put the damn cage back on it..next year i will put 5 out for sure of this..its proved its self to me 2nd year in a row..last year i grew it for the 1st time and the frost hit it 2 times bc it wasnt ready and it frosted early here last year but that didnt affect it one bit and it kept on trucking..

Oh Yeahh... That sounds like a good daytime smoke indeed !! - We need some "anti-couchlock" during the day to get shit done. Also read that the yields are quite nice and it has an exotic smell and taste. Very interesting strain... I will change my order and include some Delahaze for us next season. How do you think she would do indoors, in a small space, under a 250w MH ?

i have a buddy on thctalk website that grew it indoors and he said it was great just have to train it so it doesnt get to big on u..i just now got back from watering the dela and here is a couple more bud shots..ya man u really cant go wrong with paradise seeds and especially the delahaze..i hope the jackey white is just as good..i didnt know about paradise till last year when my buddy on thc told me that since i love sativa/haze strains that i should try dela and paradise seeds bc they do what they say on the description and i couldnt agree more..thats why i got 3 other strains to run with the delahaze so i can find me a 50/50 hybrid and a indica from them..ya i cant do the couchlock during the day myself..i love getting that high but also hate it if that makes sense lol bc it makes me lazy as fk and just sit around feeling like a slob lol the delahaze does not do that to me at all unless i smoke a whole bowl by self 012.JPG 008.JPG 009.JPG

tried to get the whole plant in the pic but just cant lol iphone view wont go that wide lol..its got a beautiful smell to it while flowering

Awesome bro ! Thank you for your informative reply :-) I am freakin' Sold on the Delahaze ! Sounds just like what we need during the day. We have some Western Winds (flowering slowly) that I'm hoping will be done by Oct 15th. These bitches smell GREAT - exotic fruit / spicy candy... fkn ridiculously KIND smell. Only a few red pistils so we're SLOWLY getting there... Lemme see if I can snap you a pic or 2 :blsmoke:

DSCN0891.JPG Our biggest ww - about 5' tall missing a cola broken by a recent storm. So, We got to sample her early and she's pretty impressive so far. Nice, "awake" buzz, good for daytime, but already Potent - so ya gotta be careful. Can't wait for peak-potency :weed:

DSCN0892.JPG My other pheno... this one looks more Indica, but still has the same, candied exotic smell as the Sativa pheno. No complaints here :joint: I learned a lot from my 1-st outdoor grow. Next year, we're going for fewer but much bigger plants. This container was too small, thereby limiting plant growth. Oh well, lesson learned-

Ok, talked to my buddy and he doesn't remember many details either. He said he knows he liked it and has bought more Paradise since then. We have both grown Delahaze (it was a freebie a few March promos ago) and I thought it was a very solid version of Haze. I wouldn't go so far as to say fantastic, but I didn't regret the grow.
