Painting The Growroom

My partner insists that I should not paint the grow room white because the paint will give off "off gases" that will kill the plants. Obviously, I will remove the plants while the paint dries...but does anyone see why I can't paint the room and put the plants back in a couple hours later?

Yeah man. Wait until you don't smell paint in the room anymore. Get some fans and a small space heater. Have as much air circulating as you can, in and out.

Until that room DOESN'T smell like paint, I wouldn't put the plants back in there.

They are sensitive to chemicals and shit like that.

If you have a decent ventilation system it should dry a lot quicker. I personally would not put my plants back in until 3-5 days or so later, even after the smell has gone there's still gonna be a little paint "vapour" in the air.
