Overcharging and crap meds rant

Ok, I'm gonna rant a bit.

I have been legal for years and absolutely tired of people that are overcharging and selling crap that is doused in pesticides/chemicals. Most people I've dealt with claim their crap is medical but not even close yet they charge 200+ an oz. You can literally taste the pesticides, medical huh?

I have grown and know how much it costs to produce quality meds and cringe anytime I see "medical" prices not to mention the disappointment and utter anger once I smoke what I was overcharged for!

Even top grade meds should NOT be $225+ an oz unless you're a dumbass or just plain greedy!

As patients and as decent humans we need to stop dealing with reckless thoughtless growers and start putting an end to this crazy nonsense.

Ok, rant done.

Just wait until dispensaries open up, the per oz prices will be higher and the quality may not be as good as you've been accustomed to. @Big Nugz did you say all that to who you received the chemical tasting herb from? What did they say?

I recall back in the early 90's when weed was higher priced then today sad to say. I could not buy an ounce of green bud back then for less then $300 on average and most times not anything kind was $100 a quarter ounce.. I do not think todays prices reflect on yesteryear being that we have seen a steady decline in pricing but quality on the other hand has declined as well due to the mass of greedy growers out to get rich off from this act and the patients as well as the black market.

If the meds are not of the highest quality it is time to go elsewhere to score. Supply and demand has yet to find an equilibrium in this state and in the meanwhile it is more or less the wild west when it comes down to it..

If you do not like the prices and quality grow your own simply put. It is not as easy as most put it out to be, surely it is a simple to grow plant but not so simple to yield if your not in tune with it and the environment and that omits about 80% of the growers and the low grade swag being sold as medicine.. I would gladly pay even the old prices of a 100 a quart if it is 100% quality and manicured but then again I have not purchased pot in years and I will never buy it again even if I am not able to provide my own.. No point in paying the piper to diddle what I can already do but I understand how many people are being diddled by the piper :(

I charge ALL my patients 215-225/oz. ive had 4 patients for 4+ years now. so I must be doing something right.
but its quality, no chem taste, jar cured, and I don't use pesticides as Ive never had a bug. knock on wood
I have been thinking about asking a bit more for donations. What area are you in just curious? I too only help my patients,4 as well and no one else! Even legal card holders. I always feel somewhat guilty for no providing a free oz as my first caregiver did. But they also limited my meds. ( I believe they were dripping off large quantities at dispensaries). And woul charge 10 a g for every thing over my free oz/ month. Ouch

I believe asking top dollar is acceptable. I also provide edibles. Hash. Tincures or whatever I can make out of sugar nugs for free. Kinda my giveback for all the donations.

It's not easy task being a caregiver. I don't care who says its so easy to grow herb or cheap. I say walk 12 months with a full patient list. And keep quality at medical level. Constant reinvestment. Also time and brain power. If this is my full time job I sxcept to make a decent living. Not greedy or anything but I can go back to work for 15-20$ per hour. I kinda expect to bring in the same range of income. Otherwise why take th risk and potential problems which come along with caregiving? Not unreasonable.

I keep a full patient roster (6 ppl including myself), and grow full time. I spend a minimum of 2-3 hrs daily in my grow. not counting the 23 hrs straight when its time to harvest, and throw my helper 1.5z's for his time. im in the Macomb area. so my donation rates are reasonable, and i don't donate to anyone NOT on my registry. I will however donate to a few people ive met on here if they are in need for their patients, as they've helped me in the past. I enjoy all my hard work and my patients appreciate it as well.

Salt water in back in back of throat. I can completely tell the difference also the way on which the product burns changes. Good organic bud will leave zero ashes as well. I have many friends who argue the same thing. Maybe it's a taste thing that is developed after smoking much organic medicine.

I can put my torch (propane torch used for my oil rig, or my small hand held torch) and make ANY ash look grey/white. all it takes is a bit of roasting it, and white/grey is the result. flushed, non flushed, "chem" weed, ect. its not that hard to fool someone with this trick. so that white ash in the bowl is null and void IMO. I don't need to trick anyone with this, but this negates the white ash myth.

All I know is I don't get any ash. Should burn down to nothing. An the last hit of the bong should be almost as green as the first.
