over crowded

So i have 5 plants in flower. Im not sure of 1 tho. Its kinda of playing tricks on me sending some mixed signals on if male or female lol. So basically my room is 4'x2 1/2'x8'. Strains are 4 kc brain brains escape and 1 delahaze. They have been in flower for 4 days and are getting fucking huge. Leaves overlaping i did some major pruning on the bottom to try and get a nice top half and to help with airflow. Is there anything i could do to make more space in there? Im currently running a 600w hps and i have 2 300w leds that i had on the side but had to take those off today because i dont have the best setup to hold my lights (shower rod =/) im thinking of just putting 2 3 inch screws in the wall and hang the leds sideways to solve that problem temporarily. But back onto topic lol. What could i do so i dont overcrowd and lose yield? Its a dire emergency as im on ssdi have a $700 electric bill to catch up on and have a notice to turn my electric off. So im relying on this harvest to pay bills and get a better setup. TIA and smoke it up

Sorry i dont have any better pics other than this hps one. Ill take better pics when i get home.

hope you have it in flower already.. Going to grow the first 2 or so weeks still best you can do is train everything into its spot in the light and prune what you can.. Other option is to change the setup to get more room, keep those temps under eighty.

Ya i put them in flower on the 26th. I keep temps around 72-74 during day. U think if i just taje a line and tie it all the way around pushing all the branches up after pruning that it would help? Not super tight but to maybe gain a few inches around the sides

you aren't helping any unless there's nothing in the center already.. For me pulling in the sides would crowd what I trained into the middle.. You have to get everything into a permanent location. I will wait for that better picture of you can click the box that says upload full size image my phone won't open some small ones and I'll see what I can see!

5 plants in a 4' x 2' space is kind of insane. Half that many would be crowded by the time they finish; they're crowded now. I'd like to hear what others say, but you may need to sacrifice a couple or 3 plants in order to be able to see the 2 or 3 you keep to the end. The pictures aren't close enough to tell anything about sex. I also don't think there's much you can do with the lights that will help with your space issue.

Im not sure if i could stomach sacrificing 2-3 lol the only thing i can think of doing is putting the 2 leds in my tent and flowering with leds on 2 plants. Maybe i could do that as a vs for my own experience and for others who would like to see 1 more tes out of millions already done lol. I should be home in maybe 30 minutes or so

It's your 4' max. space that will be the problem. Even if you used every inch of 4', you're talking about 9" per plant, give or take a few centimeters. I just don't see how that's going to work. Maybe you'll find that several of your plants are male and the decision will be made for you! :)

are you sure the other four are girls? i wouldn't worry about it if you can go higher, they'll fit in there. ;-) if you're still using a shower rod, you need to fix that so you don't come home one day to those beautiful girls crushed. just a thought.

Yep all of them except 1 has shown sex. If one isnt a female i guess that would help some but its gonna hurt my sould to trash a plant lol

so then you've probably got five girls then if the other four are definitely girls...this fifth one is probably just slow. i wouldn't want to chop any down either, i'd let them go. i've had a lot in my little space before...a lot, and it worked. do a little training if needed

I see plenty of room! Are they lsted any? Hook those down best you can at this woody stage of the game and point the highest tops to the outside to allow the smaller branches to catch up if you have any stretch left.. You will get a nice even canopy or close and can set the plants how you like to permanently to benefit the tops you favor or if it is possible rotate them here and there. I'd they stay short enough and you train those well I think you're fine. I did 12 3 footers in five gallon cloth pots in a 5'9 square tent under a 1000w double ended bulb and got the nugget in my profile picture from that run ;)

wouldn't hurt to set up some front lighting when you can have the doors open to hit those in the middle and lower shady spots and trim all the dinky branches

I stand corrected! :) Best of luck!
I mean don't get me wrong that isn't the ideal way to go and he will be nervous about space the while way through constantly trying to get light everywhere... But train well and you can still pull a decent yield! If he loses one that winds up male it won't hurt lol

light is caught by the top of the leaves and has exchange out the bottom of I'm remembering correctly.. Under lighting won't hurt but I think it's better to put it on a bracket out track or chair and set it pointing inward to your closet when it can be left open.. If it's always closed maybe set on the pots is best case

The closet is almost all the way closed. I have to keep it open about 6 inches because atm i cant afford to get better ventilation.

well if you don't have a reason to keep it closed since its not a closed room grow I'd keep it open. Smell is the only factor I can think of that would stop me from opening it up and adding some aside lighting

Smell is a issue atm its not major but i need to keep it under control. Only reason is because everyday there are nurses at my house and its more for a respect issue towards them. Im going to be getting some ona gell for the time being until i can get a carbon in there
