I'm looking for some general guidelines on how much water per week I should be giving my outdoor plant. I tried searching for watering charts, but I found nothing. I know that certain factors need to be taken into account, such as temperature, soil type etc. Say for an average daily temperature of 85 degrees, about how much mL of water per week should my plant get?
Hello Hiphop-
Conditions dictate watering schedule. I'm in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Ca. Very hot/dry summer this year....96.5 degrees as i type in my garden. My plants are anywhere from 3ft to 7ft tall, all about 2.5-3mos old. I have a schedule for watering/feeding my garden, 8 day weeks....
Day 1) feed half strenght BMO's Super plant tonic, 2 gallons per plant. Flush last 2-3 weeks with water/molasses.
Day 2) nothing
Day 3) Water with 1 tblspoon molasses per gallon, 1-2 gallons per plant
Day 4) nothing
Day 5) Feed BMO's flower power full strengh weeks 2, 6 & 7 if needed, double strength weeks 3,4,&5 and half strenght the 1st week, 1-2 gallons per plant. Flush last 2-3 weeks with water/molasses.
Day 6) nothing
Day 7) Just water
Day
nothing
Day 9) Re-start cycle again with the super plant tonic.......Weeks 1,3,4,5, half strength, only weeks 2 & 6 full strength. No need to add SPT after week 6, there will be enough in the soil to finnish the job.
Quick notes: Check your waters/soils Ph...very important. Try to keep it about 6.2Ph to 6.5Ph on the meter. If not your plants wont feed right, resulting in a smaller buds. And we dont want that.
Good Luck, hope this helps
