There's no genetics listed, but also no mention of autoflower which he does on Sweet 105 as a selling point. I'll email and see if he'll give us the parentage.

Hempville I apologize again. I sent out an email 5 minutes ago asking Dr Greenthumb about ISS genetics, and I gave him a link to this thread and invited him to drop in and tells about the strain, maybe answer a few questions about his breeding, genetics and some of his other strains.

Hopefully we'll have company.

Hemp the Doc is quicker than I am, this was in my email box this morning:

Dr Greenthumb: "If you liked Big Laughing you'd probably enjoy Jazz. I S S is an Endless Sky pheno that finishes very early. Before you ask it is not an auto-flower, just early. As with any plant that finishes that early you do sacrfice some yeild for that earliness but the potency is definitely there and it is now feminized along with original Endless Sky."

Type Indoor/Outdoor Flowering 7 weeks Yield 400-450g/m2 This variety has been a long time coming and definitively confirms that the times they are a changing! As believe it or not this is deciduous herbaceous perennial strain!
For those of you that are not that horticulturally aware this means it has the ability to re-emerge after it has died.
Yes the seeds and not so commonly the plant can over winter and re-emerge come the spring, as in this little, or should we say big beauty will auto flower once it is established - if left to be it will set seeds, then these seeds will grow and then these plants will do the same thing so on and so forth ad infinitum!
For those of you that have still not seen the light, this means that it can grow wild and if left unchecked will colonise the areas where it is placed! in one season it can produce 3-4 generations of offspring and as each generation matures they will do the samething!
In plain English this variety can grow wild and colonise - if left will come back with a vengeance every season there after!
This strain has similar genetic characteristics as the Long John Silver (auto flowering) variety however is more productive both in yield and active ingredients compared to its more mellow younger brother.
Other seed banks have tried to buy the entire supply from us to stop these seeds hitting the market for fear of what this would do to the seed industry! But lol this is more important than mere money! - let these seeds go forth and prosper and re take what is rightfully theirs :)

are you talking about the I S S ? iranian short season by dr greenthumb. if you arent im lost.

~6 week strain bluntman, if it went into flower the second week of July it would finish in August. Maybe days get shorter quicker in Canada. ;)

well it doesn't get 12/12 till middle of september were i am so does this meen it won't flower till then if not would it not be an auto flower im confused please explain

i find in canada plants that are not outo flower start to flower in mid august at least on the prairies.usually around aug 21st.

i talked to the doc a while back about thisstrain and he said that it is just very photo sensitive,it will start to flower about mid june.clone under 24 hours and put out on june 1st,you will be fine!
