outdoor so far, need opinions

just looking for some help with my outdoor so far, I have 5 gallon pots i belive they are, there are 3 different soils, a miracle gro, a sea soil, and an organic potting soil, the oldest ones in this bunch have been in the pots since march 2nd

the front pots of the group we just transplanted into the pots today so they are much smaller, it has rained fairly well in the past 2 days, and tommarow its going to be overcast then leading into 5+ days of good sun

at this point so i use nutes? what should i add? the next time I visit im probably be going to put bamboo chutes into the pots to guide/support the larger ones

this is what i have so far, this is the best plant of the bunch:

the entire spot:

[sorry for margin rape but i wanted to use full to get the idea]

and i have purchased this fertilizer earlier:

what should i do?

I also have a bag of bone meal i used when i first planted some of them

also.. in an outdoor like this once they get to a certain height do you want to maintain and crop them at the top? or just let them go as high as they are going go to?

it's slightly windy in the area which makes them sway and it seems to be strengthening the stems as well.

any help is very much appreciated.

I would let them get as high as they wanted to! Are you worried about them getting too high?

Looks like a great spot that should get plenty of sun. Those look like 3- 3.5 gallon pots to me and they won't get to be enormous monsters in those, are you going to bury them eventually?

Looks like a nice setup!

no not worried just wondered what the best practice is

i dont think i will be able to move them from those pots either so they will have to get as big as they can in those

my main concern is fertilizing/nutes?

looks like your close to water. Why don't you clear some of that area and put them in the ground? or just a few of them.

The last thing you want is your outdoor grow to smell like smelly fish!

I can imagine some pissed off raccoon going around from pot to pot, digging up the plants trying to find that damn fish.

OP, I wouldn't be able to sleep with a grow like that. Unmistakable from the air. I hope you're legal.

yo man, nice plants you got there.if they are 3-4 weeks old then start ferting with a high N-that fert what you already have is great.also about cutting of the top-it all depend-do you want multiple colas and want that your plant would be smaller and a little bushier.also some strains like Blueberry needs to be topped or they wont yield as much.anyway-sweet grow area-be shure to transplant them as well, or better transplant them straight to endless mother nature soil, then youl get more roots=and that means bigger plant(but a good size pot will do just fine)

keep up the good work mannn....

awsome thanks for all the tips you guys

it's not going to be possible to transplant them into bigger pots, nor into the ground because the reeds they sit on in the pic is just a marsh land, shitty soil and its a very very difficult time to lug soil to the spot.. so they will have to grow in those

Should i be using the fertilizer fairly quickly then?

and yea the spot is kinda heaty from the air, also planes kinda fly over it fairly frequently.. but i think it's all good lol

Go online to http://www.thebigtomato.com and buy Fox Farms Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom...start your nute program!
Also, if planes are flying frequently just don't get caught tending to your babies. Just looking out for a fellow grower!
Good luck!

If you dont want to pay for the shipping for the fox farm, Just go to any gardening center or hardware store and buy a bottle of fish emuilsion fertilizer. Something like wegners or alaska in a light dose of 4-1-1 or something like that. Mix with water, and feed.

Don't know about that we have lots of little critters around here. I use it on the tomataos out side and have had no problems with the coons or any others. But good luck with your grow.
