Outdoor marijuana in pots

I'm not really sure if this is all over the forums or not. If it is, my bad.

I'm live in Cincinnati, Ohio and plan on planting my plants on May 12. I have a good, sunny area picked out but the soil really sucks. I want to know if I can just bury some big ass pots in the ground and fill them with good soil and then put my seeds there. I want to do like 4 plants. I just want to know if this is a decent idea and if it is I need to know how big the pots should be.

if you are willing to dig a hole big enough for the pots why don't you just dig the holes and place the soil in them?

won't the good soil mix with the dirt that is already there?

a little bit but thats not a problem

I'd say just dig a hole and fill it with your potting soil but it's probably best to ask in the outdoor section, those people are the experts.
