Outdoor growing question

Ok, so as I sit here and hit my bowl I see tis raining horribly outside. Well, I have both projects outside. One is in the ground not germinated and another is in a flower plot not germinated. Being how it is raining is it too much water for the seeds? I get LOADS of sunshine down here in GA so just a question. I'm still a newb.

A bunch of rain can wash your seeds out.. I would bring the one that is in the pot inside if you can and cover the one that is in the ground. If you germinate your seeds before you plant them you will have better luck with getting your seeds to sprout.
