I was wondering if it is beneficial to supplement my outdoor plants with co2 and what would be the best/cheapest way to do so?

are you retarded?? there is enough CO2 outside!!! you know were all the plants live naturally? anyways theres no way you could keep it around the plants unless you used a tent or something so it wouldnt be an outside grow! why dont you think

dude was just askin a question, im assuming you were a genius on your first grow?

anyways back to the point, would co2 draining into the dirt by the roots hold any benefit?

Do roots benefit from co2 or through leaves? I'm not sure either. Co2 experts? Jokerjocko?

reason i ask is i have unlimited access to c02 & can get the 20 0z canisters cheap.

i was wondering if i attached the co2 canister to a an on/off valve, that ran that into the dirt/water (whatever your doing)
if it would benefit the plant.
or juss do more damage?

So no benefits to roots simple enough, I would keep co2 around my plants outside with a super crazy invisible un breakable force field. But that's just me..

It's not worth the trouble. CO2 supplement is for indoors only, where there is no air exchange. (<- normal answer :) )

I believe that air is about 2% co2 and cannabis can handle up to 15%. I figure spraying my outdoor plants w seltZer water regularly can only help right? Even if it's not gonna stay in the air for a long time it might help

no I'm not retarded by the way

Yes, you can use co2 outdoors, but the plants need to be in a greenhouse, or in some kind of see-thru tent. In fact, if you can grow this way, you will product huge buds. Natural powerful sun, and co2 added to the air, you would see great results.
The air we breath has between 300-500ppm of co2. Marijuana grows best at 1500-2000ppm of co2. The best way to maintain this level is by using a co2 monitor/controller. It measures the co2 levels in the greenhouse every 3 seconds, and when levels go below 1500 ppm of co2, it turns on the co2 to add until the levels go to 2000ppm of co2, or whatever levels you set it to.
It's costly for the monitors/controllers, they start at $400 for a decent one.

I have no dough and no greenhouse/tent.. Would it still increase growth/yield if I sprayed my plants with seltzer water or some sort of homemade co2? I know this is far from ideal but I figure any additional co2 will help... Right?

RTI's Xtreme Gardening line has a Co2 foliar spray. it's for indoor and outdoor crops. just apply bi-monthly. I ordered some for my grow this season. Says to increase photosynthesis three-fold. Just waiting for my seeds to arrive. I'll tell you how it goes.

Here's the link

MackNugz is wise beyond his years, and pretty forward thinking. CO2 supplement IS possible outside, and it is VERY beneficial. I will not give away my secrets, because TECHNICALLY I am not supposed to have this product. Here is the first clue: it is not CO2 when it is applied to the leaves......

Hopefully you all didnt sleep through organic chemistry in college! Im hoping there are other plant science majors hiding in the wings out there.....

to clarify another question..getting co2 to the roots wont help any. the roots take in oxygen and the leaves take in co2

but the only flaw in your idea is
the great amount of energy needed to support such a fleld
you might as well grow indoors
