Hello burner, I'm learning right along with you here. My northern lights autos are getting large. I am a few weeks behind you in my growing what do you think you would do next time to help prevent the mold problems.

They are looking great, those long days are paying off now eh!!!
As for the mould its hard to say foresure. Some possibilities are strains. More airflow around the pots, i let the weeds grow up a bit to hide the pots. More morning sunlight to dry the morning dew quicker.
The high density coulda of been chopped 2 days sooner and the yeild would have been 2-3x as much.
To improve the overall performance I would start later and in bigger pots or final pots. That wasnt doable this year with family obligations. The dinafem strains look way over fed except for the one i started in its final 4.4g pot. Its also the slowest flowerer but biggest plant. I have some BT but it kills the pistils when flowering so i didnt use it. I dont like spraying crap on my plants. Also some of it might just be bad luck. By chop time we had 48 hrs of rain/mist and 80-100% humidity in what is normally our hottest and dryest time of year. Keeping then dry would of helped but i need strains that can handle maritime climate not cali lol.
I've got 3 more going that look like they will be better overall.

The long days are paying off, but I am dealing with rain every few days just like you. And I'm not quite sure what your temps are but ours are in the 60s. A Real recipe for mold. It's looking like we're going to get some nice hot sunny days for about a week maybe longer, I have my fingers crossed. Maybe I can finish these Northern light buds off with some dry weather if I'm lucky. My dad was helping me put up the greenhouse today for the Pheno's. Whenever the rain would stop we would work. it was coming in spurts today.

Yes those are Master Kush, and I just finished building the black out tent to start their flowering cycle. I'm hoping to have them finished the first week of October.image.jpgcheck out the stumps on these master Kush. You can see the massive amount of topping and training that I did to make sure they stayed short enough to fit in the fall time tent. I should get real close to a pound per plant off of these which is hard to do with the master Kush plant.

Lookin great cuttdog, will you have to black them out the whole time?
I won't have to black them out anymore after the second week of September. And they will be done flowering the first week of October.
I was trying to get started here early enough to have my flowering done September 25 but we had a whole bunch of family over for couple of weeks. Put me a little behind schedule.

The northern lights have all been chopped. I had one top Bud that molded. The rest were all in good shape, the smoke was smooth and powerful but the quality and shape of the looks of each Bud were inconsistent.

Sorry it took so long. I had 3 dinafems left and only 1 gave me something worth smoking. It was the latest planted kush n cheese that went directly into its final pot. The smoke is good and quite kushy tasting, it only yielded 24g though. I waited as long as I could and chopped her around day 83. AUG 2015 024.jpg

I chopped my autos August 20th which was around 80 days. The Cherry Bomb had an ant nest that wouldn't go away, and her main cola was yellowing because of it. I never weighed them but I'm guessing I got 2 ounces from The Cherry Bomb, 2 from the Jack 47, and 1 ounce from the Cream Caramel.
Here's a pic of the Jack 47, and Cherry Bomb a couple days before I chopped them.

My other plants are doing good, and no mold. I've been spraying them with a mix of Actinovate, and Serenade.
I hope you guys are doing well with your grows!
Here's some pics of my non autos
Killer Kush, about 6 weeks in. It's a 7 week strain, so probably a couple more weeks unless I get too much mold.

LSD, 4 or 5 weeks and is packing on the weight quick.

Blue Cheese, 4 weeks. I was hoping she would be quicker to bud, but she should be pretty close to finishing before I have to chop.

Pineapple Chunk, 3 weeks, she's about 9 feet tall, and I was hoping she would flower sooner too. I'll take what I can get though. lol
