The person that got me into growing always told me three days no more no less and font even thinking about peeking at them. He said that the plant thinks that it is going tp die. Making it push out every last bit of sugars that it is storing in it's leaving. I would recommend doing it. I know I an going too.

have you thought about cutting out the dark time and try drowning them...did some research after rm3 brought this up...but it has to do with plants in flooded areas about how when a flood hits the roots get drowned and they go into survival mode and start packing on trichs...and while that is happening your also starting to cure it before its chopped. you take your pot and place it into a larger jug...fill it up with water and completely down the plant pot and all. what happens is it begin fermenting like it does while its curing while the plant is still alive. do this for 5-6 days before harvest with the lights on and it will first have a growth spurt with the buds themselves, a lot of bigger trich development, and almost cured buds before you even chop the plant...doing it this way after drying it and a 6-7 day cure it hits and tastes like its been curing for 30-40 days.
i giving this a go when my current plants finish...i have seen the science behind why this works and have seen at least 4-5 people with proof of how well this works. i can give you a link where RM3 goes over this in more detail if you like.

yeah man they really did look grat before the chopp!!!
Thanks penyajo!! These shitty ass pictures don't do any justice.. Ill post some close up pics of them tonight for you guys.. Saved mostly all of the frosty trimmmings for hash..left the base of most of the frostiest leaves ( not much ) right on the plant to dry up with the buds.. Gave it a nice shave but I dident skin the bitches lol speaking of which, I need a haircut myself.. They both smell absolutely delicious

Thanks brother homer.. I actually did not get a wet weight on the girls.. My scale shit the bed on me.. Ill make sure to have a dry weight for sure though.. Looks like the bubba yielded a little bit more than the BB but I could be wrong..just eyeballin it.. Will hit you up with a smoke report right before they hit the jars to cure. Stay high homie
