Organics ARE chemicals

While the OP is somewhat right, as mineralized-plant-available ions are inorganic, thus chemicals.

But I'm also pretty sure bacteria and natural nutrient cycling biology don't synthesize urea-formaldehyde, slow release N or... foam insulation, particle board glue, resins.

The danger with chemicals are that they are usually manufactured using the cheapest method, and contain heavy metals and other contaminants. These contaminants can make you very sick over the course of your life, as your body accumulates heavy metals.

Use organics with a few chemicals if you absolutely want to, but organics alone works just as great. It's better for the environment and your local ecosystem too.
Now, compared to using high grade pure chelated synthetic nutrients in hydroponics is another story. I haven't been able to match that organically.
