:sleep:Alaga is a kind a syrup from the south thick like molasses. As far as strain goes I don't get caught up in that. Back in the 80's we had stuff like gold, monkey paw, afgan and so on. all I know I try to grow as natural as this beautiful plant was intended and always come out dank. I'm looking at another 6-9 weeks for this slow moving turtle. But I'll just sit here on the dock of the bay and wait for my crop to lead the way:clap:

well shit man... being a guy that's done some 120 day plants, you'll be rewarded with that sparkly-high that sativas give ya.
I love that, the visual sparkly cob-webs strands that you get right after the bongload
I gotta get me another sativa, I culled my landrace central Mexican, but I sorta miss her

wow dude, I just learned a bunch about alaga.
you may not want to use it man, that's a LOT of sodium, and sodium can lock out potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Especially on a plant that's gonna go that long, it'll have more time to develop, or if you do use it, you may want to consider a "rinsing" of your media, sorta like the hydro guys do to get rid of excess salt buildup.
Not the flooding or flushing, just a really good thorough watering
not to mention it's rather empty, i'd use a good brand of black strap molasses instead, that stuff is almost like pancake syrup.
anyways

Sorry youngster. I Appreciate your intellect on this matter I really do. But I'm very precise on salts, sugars etc. Compost soil takes care of all those issues for me plus my leaf worms and crawlers do their job too. And I only give half Ts(tea spoon) of alaga per I litre of water every third water. I'm all the way good Holmes.

Not precise enough unless you enjoy growing little popcorns like that. How do I know? Your feeding your soil fungi but not providing them enough phosphorus at the root zone to send into the plant.

If you don't compliment your sugar feed with a high phosphorus diet (fish bone meal!!!) your fungi is rendered useless.

the end result is pictured above. Stretchy, tiny little popcorns.

Your plant is growing like a turtle because it's getting minimal amounts of much needed food.

Lmao! I get my phos from raw fish heads and such hence the compost soil. There's a lot that goes into my soil "naturally." So all that you worry about in your grow I don't have that head ache the reason some of that plant looks that way is because I did little to no LST. When their finished I'll send you the first pic of real organic cultivation...

That's nothing to be impressed by dude.

Your plant looks starving and strangly. Tiny airy buds. Way under developed for their age.

Your receipe is weak.

Kick up your fish meal guano and kelp.

Come back in 2 weeks and thank me when your buds double in size.

Because that's what erb is all about: PEACE!!get it:peace:

Maybe some day the old will stop being stubborn and listen to the young.

Doesn't matter if you've been growing for 20 years if during that whole time period you're growing average bud.

Sorry "old guy", but science outweighs your hippie myths.

I bet you flush don't you?

You're new around here obviously. People don't come to rollitup to learn to grow average bud. The "old school" stubbornness attitude you have is highly looked down upon here.

So why are you here? Are you here to learn how to grow better buds or just here to show off your average ones?

I might be younger than you, but I'm also smarter.

See the funny thing is, you were the first one to completely criticize me trying to HELP you. So take that "I'm older than you" bullshit and throw it right out the window. That doesn't mean shit in these forums. And just FYI, I'm not a young kid by any means. I have a wife, kids, and so on.

No one around here cares how old you are, or how long you've been growing. This is a forum built around facts with proven methods and results, not whimsical hippy fantasies. Goto 420mag if that's what you're looking for.

So, you can either take the advice of a better grower, or stick with your stubborn way of doing things. Either way I don't care, I'm just trying to help.

Increase your kelp guano and fish meal input, seriously. Raise those PK levels up. Your sending your soil into overdrive with the sugar, but not giving them extra nutes. Go ahead, they can handle it. Slam them with P.

I guarantee you'll double your yields.

@superbak3d is right old timer...albiet his presentation is a little rough...but you are being frustratingly stubborn about your ignorance. my pops walked me through how they used to grow bud back in the day. You guys had a lot of messed up practices because you didn't have any resources for information, just passed along tricks (some good, most bad) we have the Internet now, things are different. Learning something new is nothing to be ashamed of! You're getting results but you could be getting RESULTS. Know what I'm saying?

Growing cannabis has changed quite a bit over the last few years. With better science and technology we have a far greater understanding of plant biology now than we did say 30 years ago.

Nothing erks me more around here is when people swear by their old school hippie methods with no support behind it.

I feel you. I literally made a job out of teaching old hippies how to grow better bud. Guys that like to go fishing a lot but want their barns and basements utilized lol. Ive had to reprogram a few growers.

Today's pic of "wrong grown" erb lol:wall:
Wrong is a strong word when growing a plant, different, old school and maybe strange lol. There's a lot to be said about the art of cannabis and the science of dank. We all love home made soil and feeding with water/teas/sugars/bacteria/mycos. Maybe mixing amendments in to our old soil to compost. I think maybe he's growing under cfls, then it looks great. Most of us love to help and grow medical grade pot or maybe your end product looks like this and your just messing around. Harvest day 65 of 12/12. image.jpeg

Kind of like a Prohibitionist saying weeds a gateway drug, both just make me shake my head and ask the bartender for a drink.
